I accidentally uprooted my best clone!
It was 6 days into 18/6 Veg in 6.5lt Clay Pebble
When it was lifted out, the original Cutting rooting sponge had about 15 clay pebbles stuck to it.

I immediately packed it back into the pebbles and gave it water.

That was 2 days ago.
Yesterday morning it seemed fine but, by night time, it was drooping badly.

This morning the droop was even worse.
The new growth, at the top inch and a half, was hanging like a broken neck and all the leaves were limp and lifeless.

IS SHE DONE FOR?
Or is there hope she could recover???

I wonter if you could get some sort of dome ofer it.
Maybe a plastic bag misted with water.
it is worth a try.

Maybe raise the light a bit and keep the fan off it for a while.

note the small baggies

Any info I give is based on what I would be comfortable doing.
Please get other opinion.

In nature plants don't live in plastic buckets but at my house they do or they get the f**k out.

Without a pic and with your description...dead. You might (I stress might) be able to save it if your put something over it to jack the humidity up to 90%.

I can use a plastic bag but wouldn't the top half of a 2lt soda pop bottle be better...???

I'll post a picture within the next few hours.

TOTAL RECOVERY!!!

I've just prepared an individual humidity dome
(I cut the top off a plastic pop bottle -
incidentally, I cut off too much and left the dome too short).
and I went to take a photo of the drooping clone
and another of it with the dome over it.

It appears to be 99% recovered....
Only the very slightest lack of vigour is visible
and she's back to being one of the 4 best clones in my VEG tent.

Thanks for your helpful suggestions.

I believe I posted pictures of them as very young cuttings in the propagator (journal post)???
I will now post some of them as ONE WEEK OLD VEGGING CLONES.

I hope you take the time to look and comment.

Glad to hear she recovered. Looked at your journal, but couldn't pull up attachments? In general, people screw with their clones too much looking for roots. Leave em alone!
