I don't think you can start a seedling with 12/12 that's a flowering cycle for lights, veg needs 24/7 or 18/6, this time try a 2 foot tube cfl grow light, keep it about 1 inch from tops, when starts to grow keep light about 2 inchs above till you transplant into a bigger pot. imo

Dang another 1 fell down, the 2 toothpicks didnt hold it. So I have 2 dead plants right now =(. Gonna start all over again I guess.
Either angle and cross the toothpicks to make a tall "x" where the seedling rests in the middle, or get wire ties like in the vegetable section or from a bag of bread and make a little 'rest' for the stem to sit in.

Im gonna give this a try. Question though, how do you switch from
6400K bulb (VEG) to 3500K (FLOWER) ?
