This is wrong. Im not even a huge death cab fan but I have heard some amazing songs by them. You sound stupid.

An opinion is "wrong"? hahaha, riiiight. To me sounds generic and well, pretty crapo, this makes me sound stupid as well as HT does it, lol fucking opinions, always getting em wrong.

Lol never said you guys couldn't have your opinions. Just know that avoiding music due to its 'generic-ness' is a really unfullfilling way to go about listening. What YOU listen to is considered 'generic' by someone else who thinks they are SO superior..

I avoid music that sounds generic to me, that is to say i have an opinion of what generic music is, and that fills it, samey samey, my opinions. As you correctly say, people probably see what i listen to and think that generic crap again or whatnot. My earlier point wasn't aimed at you, but rather TGT for telling someone their opinion was wrong. If not for people pointing me at music, whether i like it or not, i'd never find new music, i'd just listen to what i know and like, so ta regardless of my verdict

Its not the generic sound. its the cock sucking noises you can hear in the background if you turn it real loud. You can hear "SCHLOCK" "SCHLOCK" noises in the background of every track.

I had someone reccomend it to me and I thought "hey as long as its not country"... But no I couldnt stand it. and I listen to final fantasy music. to each his own. My own thinks it sucks hard

high high if you like death cab try the postal service..again yous guys might not like it but it is the singer from death cab doing everything accept when there is a female voice..not always but some of the tracks have female vocal but aside from that all the music the mixing the everything is him..that is why i even started liking death cab because i really admire people who are that talented.the guy writes plays the music and sings the shit i think it is pretty impressive and i havent really ever heard of anything that mimics it or sounds like it!

I love Death Cab. Soul Meets Body is not the best representation of their work in my opinion. They have been around for a long time, have developed and matured as a band and continue to put out original, creative music. Just saw them in DC, going again in Raleigh. Fantastic live...if you ever get the chance to see them, GO!

i love modest mouse and all of the above mentioned as well i however disagree i can apreciate ALL music for what it is and mr garcia is closer to being right than not right. its definatley all a matter of opinion but eh whatever we all cant be the same or this world would be full of one type of weed one type of cigarette one type of music and one type of person all of which are very lame when not mixed up with all the other colors out there to try ya know? maybe not someone might disagree with that too its really just about our opinions on here and there all worth sayin. happy STONEY LISTENING.
