I'm also runnin cataract kush (la conf x og). And am germin 3 th seeds strains, burmese kush, sage and heavy duty fruity. They were freebies I had 3 of each. So alltogether 4 og crosses. Only lookin for keepers on the tahoes or jedis tho. Might get lucky with a sage tho.

Trust me - This guys probably not lying about it. DeathStar clones aren't exactly as hard to get as some people think. All it takes is knowing the original area where it was bred and having some friends closely tied friends there, to get ahold of her. They are very selective to who this cut goes to (my bet is they didn't want Swerve to S1 it), but people are out there who do have it. I personally have had the original DeathStar cut and TDS's DeathStar BX ECSD, and to this day I still have a BubbleStar mother (another of TDS's creations).

If he's from the homeland, or he's well connected, he can probably get this clone.

Note: It's ECSD x "OGRE" Sensi Star Male (the super rare phenotype of Sensi - at least everything they put it to made it have OGRE qualities - part of the reason it's nothing like CO's Bio-Diesel)

yeah im from the homeland!!and i actually did get a cut because of this comment.lol like he said we cleared it up its all good. its funny how much pride affects decisions in life coulda gotten this stuff years ago but i ahve always been a straight sour d that i wasnt really interested. but now that i have it i am curious to see its growth characteristics vs the sour d and the jedi. but i wont be runnin it till at least next time. so in a few we will have an answer to the original ? from this thread.and as for closely tied friends they dont get any closer....

Yeah!!! i have been waiting ever since i saw team deathstar in HT

I got jedis and tahoes growin side by side but I won't be flowerin them for another 3 weeks at the very least.

They are growin great tho.

i have the tahoe in line for my next run and i might do the jedi then for the side by side

Glad you guys got that all cleared up - I just know there has been alot of confusion running around in terms of the original DS clone and I've had to sort out several people's disputes about it. I know what you guys all mean - I will say it is one of the best strains to ever come outta the homeland in terms of a 'Chem' cross, but personally I'm still hyped on the BubbleStar. - Actually got the Jedi's started, tryin to get the original DS clone back (even though i preferred the DS BX ECSD - much more SD influence obviously) - but it should be interesting to see how the Jedi's compare. - If they fair well, I'm planning on pollinating the BubbleStar to make a cross that would be 50% BubbleStar[Indiana Bubblegum x OGRE Sensi], 25% DeathStar, and 25% SFV OGK F5.

Anyone from the homeland think a BubbleStar x Jedi would be good to see around? If so, I'm breeding it on the next run, already looking for a good Jedi Father.

I'm thinkin bout doin tahoe x jedi since I got both goin. I want to start collecting pollen anyways and it sounds like a good one to me.

bubblestar? damn i havent seen that in a grip. you know that sensi star is a freak. but honestly thats what i dont like about deathstar. i am just burnt out on sensi star i think. its been around for so long.dont get me wrong its hands down one of the most enjoyable plants ive grown,just never really liked to puff it. your cross would be bringing out a lot of sensi star, well of course dependin on what you select for. so for me not so much. but others would love it im sure. it would be sweet to take bubblestar to lemon g. love that one. but i dont know much about seeds/pollen for that . so as far as i can think it would need to be reversed. but wow.
im about to do some work with the sour d cause i love it so much. gonna take it to LA confidential and also to the vortex.sour d will be the female,same one used to make the deathstar. how do you feel about those?

Yep the classic BubbleStar, I'm a personal grow/breeder and I've kept the cut around for a long time, and none of what i do goes to the streets, as far as i know only one person near the greek city is running BS for commercial-use. - But she's such a frosty little girl, and oh my the taste. See I get tired of the DS to but not the BS, so who knows.

Now the thing is - I was actually thinking about the whole Lemon G thing, which can be done, the phenotype is present in the Love Potion#1 from Reeferman - trust me I grew alot of these from seed and the clone that gets passed around thats super chunky is just a phenotype that takes poppin off just a few extra to find. - So in theory as long as you select a dad that has all the trademarks of the Lemon G clone - it's properties will show up in the initial cross decently well depending on what you put it to. Your Sour-D cut would be perfect to hit with Love Potion pollen as it's always best to have a Sativa leaning mother and Indica father (ask DJ Short - this is the technique he uses, Indica pollen on Sativa Females and its worked very well for myself). So if you wanna make a bad-ass breed, right there is a good start, and the Sour D's traits will dominate as it is a mainly Sativa female (look at how much she came out in the DS, not in structure, but in adding flavor and the trich profile which is what matters most to me) - Obviously the idea is to get a Sativa THC profile onto an Indica structure to increase potency as it's only increased when the number of trichs is increased on the flowers. The LA Confidential is also another great choice as it's Indica Dominant as well, meaning the ECSD will really shine through.

Now back to the BubbleStar idea - I'm thinking with this one it's gonna really require a BX, but if I can find a dad with an OG/ECSD smell and tight internodes - the initial cross will lean more towards the chem side of things but will retain a mild 37.5% of the cross which means it can dominate the structure of the plant the way I want it to and finding the phenotype that is best will come from the 12.5% Indiana Bubblegum, 12.5% ECSD, and 37.5% OGK - so really the phenotypes should be somewhat manageable and will either Sensi or OG and the phenotype im lookin for will have a Hashy BubbleStar Taste with a Chem Funk and a nice 60/40 Sativa Dom phenotype - but all phenotypes will be 60/40 Indica or 60/40 Sativa depending on if it goes towards the OGK/SD or the Sensi.

What do ya think? - hahaha - i know its alot of info but yea.

yeah i know about hybrid vigor.thank you for the advice. thats why i am taken her to the LA Conn. The only thing im seein that will be a downside is LA isnt a huge yielder.but im all about flavor first so i dont mind. and i think this flavor combo is gonna be good. takin it to the vortex because of the flavor too, but mainly because im gonna have a vortex male(hopefully just popped the 10 pack a few weks ago). you threw me off when you started talkin about the love potion #1. at first i thought you were sayin it was lemon g. but then i reread and saw what you were sayin. i also had know idea what is in love potion, so i looked it up. so how many packs did you have to pop? i assume the pheno your speakin of is pretty recessive. what does love potion grow like? what does the pheno grow like so if i try it i have an idea of what to look for. i may try this down the road. but not for a while.

the bubblestar idea sounds like you have been givin it some serious thought. i still stand by my statement of its all about selection if i would like it. the ecsd dominate one would be something i would like the other probably not so much but like i said thats just me. i have very little exp/knowledge about the bubblestar havent seen it much and not for a long time.never grown it. that being said with the genes your usin im sure that you will have great luck. and if you find the pheno youre lookin for that would be great.

Sorry about that - Started off givin some info and got a little caught up on talking about what kinda fun can be had with the DeathStar and breeding projects. Been smokin it for years and now that it's mixed with my favorite smoke, I just can't wait to put it to a nice girl that really wants it and needs it. But with all the hype out there, people should definitely check out Team Death Star's other crosses - HuckleStar, DeathStar BX ECSD, and BubbleStar. All three are getting kinda rare but they are out there if the force is still strong with the Team, so get out there and smoke this lemondropped hashy chem funk if you have the chance to do so, never fails as another high class medical smoke for pain/insomnia (I used it for chronic pain for years and mixed with other chem strains did very well at controlling it, the Insomnia is just a guess because of how I've seen people knock out a few hours after smoking it several times).

Just picked up my deathstar clones today. Gonna need to veg them for a while but they're rooted and healthy.

How are everyones Jedi kush lookin? It's lookin like I'll be movin the deathstar to the flower room in mid September. I still haven't decided if I am gonna pop my Jedi beans at that time or not. I plan on startin the tahoe og at that time and something else. Just not sure what that other will be.

Mine are growin like weeds man. They have blown past the tahoes. Well actually 1 tahoe is close to the jedis but the others are grettin smoked.

I migh flower my jedis a week or two earlier even. Idk gotta see how they all sex.

Its great to hear things are going well for you lastwood. ive got a month and a half left of veg for my sour p,vortex,LA conn,and the deathstar.everything is already so big its gonna be silly in there to say the least. im usin a new (to me) soil recipe and all i can say is i think my plants like it. best part about it is no more mixin nutes just water. got the recipe from a buddy after seein his results. he has been usin it for years.
