Deciding on best method HELP

So let me explain my setup I have a

2x4x5 Apollo tent
400 watt mh/ hps dimmable with cool tube
4 inch inline with carbon filter
Two 6 inch oscillate fans
120mm cpu fan just blowing around for added flow

My question to you good people is with that size tent what would be better a SOG or a scrog


I was thinking of doing a two plant scrog but I'm going for biggest yield. Any input would be appreciated

Under 600w your best yields for most strains will be under SCROG. It takes a bit more work, but the returns are worth it.

That said, the first couple times working with a strain, I like to SOG-- or even simply grow out a mid sized plant. It helps me to SCROG better if I know how the strain likes to branch, how it tolerates topping, etc. I also pick the phenos that work best with a SCROG regimen.
