defcon 1 1st grow and having problems

hey y’all. New to this group and a first time grower and I’m having some issues. I have 4 plants. 2 blueberry ogee and 2 gg4 x blueberry ogee. and up to this point (week 5 flower) all has been great. no issues with deficiencies, heat, air circulation or pests. I wanted to start out on the lower budget and see how it went the first go before I heavily invested in equipment. so what I have is a high output t-5 x8 with 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower fluorescent bulbs. total wattage is 456. i use an oscillating fan that puts out a mild breeze and keep the lights within 6” from tops. the temp in the room sits at about 68-78F average 68 morning and 78 evening I use foxfarm ocean forest soil. they are in 3 gallon square buckets but i didn’t account for soil compact and now looks like they contain 2 gallons of soil. the buckets are loaded with good size holes on bottoms and a fair amount on the sides. at first I watered with r.o. water but switched to tap and leaving the jugs to sit a few days to dissipate the chlorine and no nute for all of veg and first week or so of flower. then gave them general hydroponics flora series in recommended dosages once a week. I give nutes say on a friday and then regular water on tuesday and back to nutes on friday. out of all 4, 1 in particular seemed to still be a bit damp and heavier but i water and fed anyways. I also use calmag with the nutes amd none on plain water days as my tap is about 250ppm. I also started giving unsulphered molasses on nute days at 1 tbs per gallon. I ph to about 6.6. i use 3 gallons of water to feed and water 4 plants and check runoff and it is usually 5.8 - 6.2.
so after that long winded setup, my problem is with the leaves getting brown/rusty necrotic in the veins. they eventually crisp up from tips and consume the entire leaf. mostly mid plant but now encroaching towards the tops. from the bottom view of the leaves i can see those same leaves look to have brown/ black spots. upon further inspection with a jeweler glass i see no mites/webbing or larvae or aphids. im in montana so the humidity here is on the lower end. it started with one plant but now 2 more have a similar issue. I will try to attach some photos and see if anyone here has an idea what the issue is and if I can remedy the problem or will I have to hold out till I have to cut losses and harvest early. any advice is welcome. thanks in advance.

Hey I recommend u just give it water for the next week or 2

It seems like they’re a tad bit on the unhappy side there bud. I wouldn’t start starving them though. Back off to half strength for a few days. And I cannot stress this enough. Ph your water before and after you mix. Better to be safe. I can tell u that nutes will change your ph so always check again. If your to low it is as bad as to high. Edit.... upon re reading your post. I would try feeding more often with a slightly weaker mix of nutes. They may be starving. Every plant isn’t the same. I’ve had clones from a single mother require different treatment. And I would def feed more than twice a week in anything less than a 15 gal pot. I use 15’s and I have found I still need to feed 3 times a week with a gal of water here and there if they seem to want it...(drooping leaves)

Ca deficiency, right on schedule... do not stop feeding, up it and the calmag. This is the stage where they are growing and changing the most.

thanks alot! that sounds like a good plan. the calmag was 3-5ml/ gallon so i went with 3. now going with 5. and instead of straight water 1 time a week and nites 1 time a week perhaps a lighter nute mix every 3 days. not quite half but in the end of week it comes to about my usual nute dose plus half. luckily its the one and another with a minor case. soooo close to harvest. I got 7 seedlings in veg tent and really want a nice clone 2-3 month cycle. im lucky i haven’t had any bug issues as im told those are very hard to deal with. I will take your advice and update.

like with the above comment I will do exactly that. im guessing this is a common issue and you know the situation. so thanks! will update. not to knock myself but I usually don’t put 100% in goals lol! but i have been super attentive to having success with this.

Lord forbid you have a single bug issue. But if you do... DO NOT SPRAY WITH SOAP. Try everything u can before soap or any type of oil.

i looked for the signs with a jeweler glass and didn’t see anything but I could have missed something. so u had a bug issue and tried the soap method woth bad results? guess its good to learn from others mistakes. hope all turned out good in the end.

I did, thankfully I’m not a dumbass n rinsed it off 10 mins after applying (in the dark) and found a much better solution. Mind you I caught it early. I had a aphid issue beginning. In the end I brought the temp of my room up to 93f for three hours and it killed everything. I’ve been through the white mold issue as well... and it’s easily beat by spraying everything down with 70% water 30% milk. Let it dry and leave it for a few days at least. It will rinse clean n won’t affect the plant. Always ph any water your gonna use. Spray or feed doesn’t matter. The worst I’ve seen so far are spider mites, if they show up good luck. The way I deal with em is to not get em. Lol

i’m told any spray with pyrethrins in it (derived from chrysanthemums) is a nasty bug killer but not harmful to humans. not sure I would try it on a flowering plant but who knows
