wtf you can check ph with ph drops for $4.95.Awesome, looking at the Apera rn. Price is hefty but I'm sure it'll help in prevention of future troubles. About to hit that confirm and pay! Ouch. Lol

It's the stuff in your water that can have a slight effect on Soil pH not the water itself. The more stuff the greater the effect. Which is likely the casue in the first place, too high PPM in the roots, acidification, calmag lockout and nute burn.I'm a bit confused with this. So with my RO water it's ph tested at 6.5, company says its 7.0 on the bottle. Not sure if my ph tester is off, should I or should I not PH my RO water?
Thank you for your input Bernie420, 1400 ppm is the run off. Will definitely be within the 650 range from now on. I have some Impello tribus original I could use in the microbes department. Will throw some into the mix on this watering. Big ups BernanothajointYou should water in epsom salt at 1 tsp per gal for three waterings and add microbes to the first watering and then use microbes once a week just a little bit and dont wait till they dry out do it today. You can just add a quart of this and it isnt going to hurt the fact that you just watered them.
When you have microbes in there you really dont need to give a rats ass about ph but its nice to check and water in at 6.5 so you dont give the plant a ph shocker.
Start that now then feed on the third watering with the epsom salt then water water feed. water water feed, microbes once a week. Then get some calmag and use that once week at 2ml per gal. also.
Whats es300??
is that a led light? are you using an led light ? It looks like it to me a little raise it up a foot. Raise the light slow the grow let them heal is one of the first things a grower needs to know. You cant be trying to over drive a sick plant so from now on till chop raise it up one foot. Why is that one plant in the corner still green? Is it because it isnt directly under the led light ? Move the pots around and rotate them to get even coverage.
When you say 1400 ppms is that a run off reading or is that what you are feeding it ?? Cuz that too hot. I would feed at 650 from now on if you were feeding it 1400. If its a run off 1400 it wouldnt be a big deal if you had microbes working for you.
Thats what I think you should do then leave them alone. And maybe add a potassium product by itself at 250 ppms during a watering time.
Much appreciated Bernie420! You guys have definitely given me some direction as to where to go from here. Thank you, Thank you!Good luck esbespn
you should search harley smith and watch all his videos on the youtube.
Actually it's calcium that LED growers sometimes require more of. At the pH he is at it's wouldn't uptake anyways. Feeding at a PPM of 1400 doesn't "burn" roots.Heres the deal you have an led light and you need to up the mag. It isnt ph and you need to add microbes. And if your feeding at 1400 you burnt up some of your roots more than likely.
Right on Your not saying that your going to feed it and flush it down to 650 ,correct?? measuring the run off ppm is not necessary at allThank you for your input Bernie420, 1400 ppm is the run off. Tribus Original is what I use, I love the stuff.Thank you for your input Bernie420, 1400 ppm is the run off. Will definitely be within the 650 range from now on. He doesnt have a calcium problem. But calcium is important. He actually has a mag problem.Actually it's calcium that LED growers sometimes require more of. At the pH he is at it's wouldn't uptake anyways. Feeding at a PPM of 1400 doesn't "burn" roots.
Whats an es300 is that a lexus?Thank you for your input Bernie420, 1400 ppm is the run off. Will definitely be within the 650 range from now on. I have some Impello tribus original I could use in the microbes department. Will throw some into the mix on this watering. Big ups Bernanothajoint
No not saying that. Haha. Will just water with the tribus added. Of course keep the good habit of checking my Ph and ppm though. Ill definitely, be following you guys guidelines for future watering.Right on Your not saying that your going to feed it and flush it down to 650 ,correct?? measuring the run off ppm is not necessary at all
do you have an led light? how big is it?No not saying that. Haha. Will just water with the tribus added. Of course keep the good habit of checking my Ph and ppm though. Ill definitely, be following you guys guidelines for future watering.
gets some epsom saltNo not saying that. Haha. Will just water with the tribus added. Of course keep the good habit of checking my Ph and ppm though. Ill definitely, be following you guys guidelines for future watering.
I hear you, Read much good things about it. Saw it on Greengenes garden and he got me convinced. since this is my first time using it I have yet to see what it can do but I trust you guys, the experts. Thank you again Renfro!Tribus Original is what I use, I love the stuff.
I multiply it to make it go farther.
Hahaha . Yeah does sound like a lexus. It's the Electric sky es300 from the green sunshine company.Whats an es300 is that a lexus?
And you are running an led light right?
yeah you used up all the mag from the plants with the led being only 24 inches away. no microbes thats the problem
I'm using Jacks 321 so I got me some Epsom salt.gets some epsom salt
peace
First watering since flush is tonight when my lights turn on. No Epsom Salts till the following water after this and just the tribus or should I start using the Epsom salt on this wateringgets some epsom salt
peace
Ya Renfro knows his shit.I hear you, Read much good things about it. Saw it on Greengenes garden and he got me convinced. since this is my first time using it I have yet to see what it can do but I trust you guys, the experts. Thank you again Renfro!
Never said he had a calcium problem. Magnesium won't uptake when the pH is too low so until thats corrected he could throw a shitload of epsom salt at it with no results. He doesnt have a calcium problem. But calcium is important. He actually has a mag problem.
The plant is starved because of the pH lockout so feed it as you are bringing the pH up, this way you will see the plant react.First watering since flush is tonight when my lights turn on. Will do! Will more than likely just water with ro and tribus and give it a couple days to see if they have taken any residual nutes from the flush left behind and then move on from there with feeding 1/4 strength on the nutes.Never said he had a calcium problem.
