Rev's? I think you missed the layering part.....That's a hot soil you have there and I bet you used the high P Organicare too.
I would not have skipped the Soft rock phos.
Like the "Don" said...unless you know exactly what the npk's are of what your adding,,,,getting the soil analyzed is a safe way to go...
I also tend to see some pH trouble there,(squinting and shaking heat thoughtfully). Mmm maybe that's a low Mg problem in relation to everything going on......also.
SURE, np.
1: I find the color pH chart as misleading.....In hydro I have learned over the years that if I keep my swings between 5.8 and 6.2 that my hydro's do the best. I pH to 5.8 - 6.0 and let it go for 24 hrs....I feel that lower pH's are worse and effect the plant faster....I only run DWC in the colder months for fun and nutrient testing.
2: The big "low N" pic also shows high K.
3: P def,,,,purple stems can show P def,,,BUT many strains express a "purple" in the stems. Main and leaf. Not a reliable sign and should not have been listed first. Some strains do this with excess K and in the leaves too...The use of a high P like Peters (20-20-20) can, and will lead to overly high P problems!!!!! FAST.....correcting low P should be done with prudence and small steps.
4: The low K pic is good. This problem is sometimes mistaken for heat damage and over fertilization.
5: The Mg listing is good, but I don't like the leaf on the right in the first one....It has other problems going on there.
6: The Ca pics could have more as the ONE they have only shows one way a Ca def looks....(looks like the plant had mites too and that can appear like a Ca def to the unknowing).
7: The thing with micro nute problems are that they are kinda rare.....if your going to list them tell people. Have them more complete and show the stages of the problems development.....same goes for the macro's,,,show the stages!
Like I said,,,all in all it's not a bad posting, But sometimes these can be confusing to novice growers....
Example of: 98% of the time I see to much P as being called to little N.....usually from the use of high P bloom nutes. Adding more N will do nothing to solve that problem.....
I know, I'm a picky old bastard.....It comes with time "on the job"
Nice link though....It will help.
