Deficiency or Lockout?

The water alone is at 450ish. I just looked at the plant and the leaves are getting progressively worse. I have a soil meter and the soil is dry but I only have my dechlorinated tap water available. I’m going to have to buy some distilled or spring water. At least the spring water is low in PPMs. Roughly 50ppms.
should I give it just water the next couple times? First I’ll check the runoff and see where the PPMs levels are. I do have fox farm tiger bloom and bat guano. I decided to try dry this round but since the dry is very high in P, I can switch to the liquid. Not sure which route to take. My tomatoes, basil and cilantro are doing great with the Dr. Earth and tap water, just not my other plant.
We've been buying RO for 20 f'n years here. Even if we had town water it's not much better than my dugout water except it's been filtered better and had chlorine added to make it potable. I've bought all the gear to set up my own RO with extra carbon filters down to 0.5µ from the 5µ we filter at now and a UV sterilizer with a calcite filter at the end to add back some Ca and 'polish' the water we will drink. I have a tap setup right after the RO filter to take off water for my plants before the UV and calcite filters. Just have to get off my butt and put it all together then it will pay for itself in less than 6 months and it was over $500 for everything.

The tiger bloom is 2-8-4 and would be just right if it were 2-4-8 but that's what you have so it'll have to do. Bat guano is high P too isn't it? Guano needs a good bio-herd in the soil to break it down tho so is a slower acting fert. I have a variety of nutes so can tailor my feed to what I want but I've been at it full-time for the last 20 years so stuff accumulates. :)

If you let the soil dry out then when you do flush it soak it to saturation then let it sit for an hour to soak up lots of salts before pouring thru more to get runoff. Check the ppm of the first part of the runoff and now and then as you put more water thru. If using your tap water don't forget to subtract it's ppm from what you get in the runoff for the actual nutrient ppm tho you are also flushing out mineral buildup from earlier waterings.

The plants still need something to eat so the last part of the flush should be some mild to medium level bloom nutes low on N and P if you have them. Don't wait for it to dry out again but pour that thru for the last part of the flush.

You caught it pretty early but you're still going to see leaf damage continue. Hopefully you'll see older fan leaves going yellow and soft near the end indicating that the plant is stealing mobile nutes from them. Leaves affected by the buildup go all yellow/orange/brown, feel thick and crispy and ugly as shit. When it's bad even the tiny bud leaves start doing it near the finish. Low humidity makes it worse and for a long time I thought I was overfeeding which I was for those conditions we have here. During the winter it can be 10% outside and only 20 - 30% in the grow room. Then the plants are drinking a lot more water and taking up more nutes than they can process so like people store fat they store the extra nutes in their tissues until TSB happens but it is building up all thru veg so aim lower with feedings the whole time to prevent that. I was running my DWC at 500 - 600 ppm instead of the usual 1000 - 1200 and getting great growth without the buildup.

You know he's growing in organic soil and he's not using salt nutrients , he's using dry organic amendments.
And that he said his plants looked great until he flushed them.

I used HP Pro Mix. Which has coco, peat moss, wetting agent and mycorrhizae. I used 5-5-5 all purpose dry during veg. Prior to flipping to flower, I flushed to rid the 5-5-5. While flushing, the PPMs were at 2000ish. 2000 is including the tap PPMs. I got it down to roughly 800ish. I bought some spring water. PPMs we’re at 53. I did a run off on the replant and the PPMs are now at 280. That’s probably not good, but I wanted to make sure the salts were out or at least the fertilizer. I can then reintroduce the fertilizer. Again, I’m just a newbie. Lol

Lol. I just started in the game a little over a year ago. Started with one plant. Then three and now 10. Unfortunately, three out of the ten were male. Not to mention one of the plants was a hermie, which sadly pollinated the rest of the plants. :( This round I decided to go with dry amendments. I picked up a bag of 5-5-5 which did good. Then I decided to flush the plants to make sure the salts were gone to prep for the 3-9-4, Dr. Earth. I sprinkled a couple of tablespoons on the top of the soil and gave it water with molasses. I didn’t use molasses with my previous plants and they came out ok, with the exception of being short. That’s due to environment (no tent), bucket style. It seems I need to stay away from the molasses. I might have to invest in an RO system. My water is too hard. I usually use Crystal Geyser water because the PPMs are consistently 50. Anything over 100 is unacceptable, but I guess my town thinks it’s ok to drink. I think what I’m going to do is con to use to give it plain water instead of flushing. Eventually the nutes in the soil will dissipate. I guess I will see how it turns out.
