Definite male?

That female has sexed but has no developed buds = no risk of pollination since there's nothing to pollinate. Unless you have other females with developed buds around, no worries.
Though the male has not fully flowered I still see Pistils on the second plant.
If he had dropped his nuts those pistils would have caught enough to have "some" seeds for sure.

I've never seen it but wouldn't expect it or look for it. I suppose the odd hair could get pollinated and produce. Don't know if it would develop seeds at that stage though even if it was hit. Going to make a note & test it to see if it develops that early in development. I always have pollen around so easy enough to test.

I'd be interested in your results - I noted that the female was already showing maturity with alternating nodes and in pre-flower/early budding & I do not doubt that those pistils would produce if pollinated.

Hypothesis of course as I've never tested - I look forward to hearing if it works.

I mean, I was wrong once before but divorce cured that one. : )

Yeah I have a note 9 weeks out when I should have some seeds sexing for a pheno hunt. I'll take a couple from the first round of culling as I'll be running multiple packs/strains and use those as testers.

Lol, I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong either, took care of that same problem about 9 years ago :hump:
