Not me saying it, but at a time when the scientific technology was just becoming prominent the substance was then outlawed. Since then, compassion acts pass and were given back what was taken. However, left a bunch of inexperienced people to be the deciding factor based upon it's appearance rather than product purity or potency. But how were we supposed to know? We had no analytical equipment to base any judgements on other than how it looks. Here is some proof from the first human study done.
