defoliate more or not week 4 flower

just hit week 4 flower done several defoliation's so far last one was two ish weeks ago

should i give her one last clean up of the big top fan leaves to expose all the hidden tops or shes good enough

I lollipop my plants as well as leave them with a skirt of fan leaves at the bottom. what the skirt does is if a deficiency sets in it will affect the lower leaves first, hence the skirt. Defoliation is largely a per grower thing though. Some growers wont defoliate at all and others like myself do it quite extensively.

im always worried about removing too much
 
I do it gradually. A few leaves here and there... if they are covering sites, then selectively chose those leaves, and if airflow is an issue, look at what areas of defoliation will assist that. I'd leave them if no hidden bud sites and airflow is not an issue, but others have different ways, it is a preference that has many variables.

Personally I would take all the Lower leaf and anything blocking, helps with airflow too.
