Defoliate this bush 44 days in flower?

IMG_20180724_100140.jpg Here she is, bushy as ever and I am worried about them useless buds down there. Would you guys defoliate/lolli it or just harvest the big boys ontop and let the lower ones ripen a bit more?

Me personally, if I had missed a good defol right before flip I would thin out the center big fans and any shaders.

Harvest big colas and leave the fluff on for a few more weeks. If not all of it goes into the trim box for other projects or hard times.
 
Yeah 44 days is a bit deep...you should strip the plant 5-7 days before flower...then again at day 30 of flower..lollipop etc..let it finish and harvest your bud
 
At this point I would harvest the tops when ready and then come back for the bottoms when they are ready. I would probably throw in some supplemental lighting for the low stuff and gently spread it as much as possible (and maybe a light defoliation) to get as much light down there as possible.
