Defoliation, a scientific approach...

"Physics is also called "the fundamental science" because the subject of study of all branches of natural science like chemistry, astronomy, geology and biology are constrained by laws of physics, similar to how chemistry is often called the central science because of its role in linking the physical sciences."

Geology (from the Greek γῆ, gē, i.e. "earth" and -λoγία, -logia, i.e. "study of, discourse"[1][2]) is an earth science comprising the study ofsolid Earth, the rocks of which it is composed, and the processes by which they change. Geology can also refer generally to the study of the solid features of any celestial body(such as the geology of the Moon or Mars)"

Hi . . .

I defoliate . . . .

I have two identical cuttings . . . .

I shall run a side by side in the next few days once I've sourced a camera.

AAAAAAAAAAAaaannnnnnd here they are . . . .two Wembley (Pyramid) AK47 x Bubblegum clones; one of them will get defoliated further, one will be left alone!

Defoliation from last night has been documented this afternoon, just now in fact.

See the results on my Amherst Sour Diesel - HSO.

Link in my sig.

Are you still using that swivel seat with that nylon neck? How far away from the plants do you keep that?

A close up of inter nodes : Amherst Sour Diesel - HSO

Good tight distances between them eh, look how the inter nodes previously plucked have hammered along, far quicker than if there was a leaf there, and this branch is in full light anyway, so it's not the increase in PAR that has done it coz it's come out the shade!!

Oh Mongo, WTF?? . . . lol

But I do intend to butcher my old 1210 turn tables to place plants on the turn table so I can work with them better . . . . . .

Nice semper, if possible, could you load pics to the thread for easier viewing? I have limited Internet access so it uses tons of my data plan to download pics, if not that's fine

Defol clone after 2 days

Non defol clone 2 days.

Nodes growing into stems quickly, so as the node growth begins, more leaves will be taken. So far, there are 4 tops forming.

Awesome, look at that inter node accelerate along . . . .

I'll see if mediafire's direct link will work, otherwise, bear with me I'll postimage.org some and use their direct links. Wont be long . . . .

I'm going to explain my routine for defoliation as I go. I'll update/ show pics during every step so there will be some what of a structure to the process.

@AlphaPhase

NEXT DAY

LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS LAST NIGHT JUST A WEE BIT BIGGER . . . .

The lower node was the size of the upper node the night before last, I know, coz I pinched the leaf off, lol.

Here's something to consider, in the wild, any idea what amount of material trees and shrubs loose to animals, rodents, insects, fire etc. in their life time; they ALWAYS bounce back eh????

@AlphaPhase: Are these images a bit big for your bandwidth still, shall I upload them smaller??

Great . . .

Those are fine semper, thanks much appreciated :)

I've just removed 96 leaves from my Strawberry Cough this evening just now.
She's really starting to motor along now, lovely pistils and flowers forming and bunching, only day 15 :)

96 leaves ranging from fans to smaller fans from grown inter nodes . . . . . for shizzle m dizzler ;)

Haaaaang on, I'll go and take a snap of the pile. Can't really take a shot of the plant as it's lit with a mag ballast, so the frequency screws my pics up . . . . biab

Here you go @a mongo frog

Keep an eye on my other efforts, there's a link in my sig.
