Defoliation questions

Whats up everybody I've been searching and couldnt find anything about defoliation during pre flower stage. Everything I find is about defoliating about 1-2 weeks before entering flowering and 2-3 weeks after entering flowering stage. My plants (autoflfowers) have showed pistils about 7-10 days ago and have shown decent growth during this time and there are alot of leaves that are blocking future bud sites/tops. I've been doing alot of lst, leaf tucking and some super cropping but have recently been wanting to defoliate as the leaves are creating, to what I believe a bad environment for airflow. Has anyone with experience defoliated during preflower( handful of pistils under every top)? I believe defoliating during preflower has 2 outcomes, either it will help the tops grow more vigorously or stunt them. If anyone has done so or think that i should just wait another week or 2 until the plant actually flower please give some input. Any advice is welcome. Thanks guys!

No need to remove anything from that.
Thanks for the reply bro, there is alot of undergrowth where there are tops being covered though, cant really tell from the pics.. I was thinking when the plant grows more maybe i should get rid of the smaller bud sites like the buds that are right above the cotyledons or first node or should I lst them to canopy level? Most people from what i've read and researched say those bud sites right above 1st and second node get larfy anyways? Any thoughts bro?

I remove all low growth. It impedes my ability to fertigate and does turn into larf.

just wondering do you do the same with autoflowers? people say to not mess with autoflowers too much but one of my thickest stemmed and healthiest looking auto have been from topping it( and not just the highest top i actually topped the two tops right below it as well). So I'm thinking why not just semi lollipop like the bottom 25% just like what an experience grower would do with a photo plant?

I defoliate whenever it's needed. Pics?
going back on my original question, so if your plant needs defoliation, you do it anyways? It doesn't matter to you what stage of growth its in? In my case or question was if defoliation during the preflower stage will either help or stunt since during this stage the plant stretches alot?

Your pot size looks a little small and your plants will benefit from thinning the canopy out.
yeah my plant is really growing outside the circumference of my pot, but its an autoflower and its a 3 gallon pot. Does this mean that I'm doing pretty well for my first auto grow? This plant is in week 5 since it sprouted, so i'm not sure if the plant is big or small? Plant may look bigger too because I have tied down the plant with lst at a diagonal angle so thats why its covering the whole pot.
