The article that @TintEastwood posted had a pretty good diagram. Maybe if you add the lung room you wont need to exhaust outside of the house.and I mise well build a lung room while I’m at it

Ya I have two fans I have my vivosun 440 cfm running with my carbon filter exhausting the tent at all times I just ment should I hook up the other one I have as an in-line right into the tent or not to get that air in there faster... or is that air gonna be to much blowing into the tent.. what do you think?.. I’ve got my rh to 65 in there now so now I’m just worried about when I flower. If you push air from inside your house out a window, that air has to be replaced in the house. If its really humid outside, this will not fix your problem. Also if it is really hot or cold outside, your HVAC will have to work a lot harder.
Just run the dehumidifier in the room the tent exhausts air into and everything should be good. (this means you will need to use the 6'' fan to exhaust air out of the tent)
Everything will be much better once you do this. Tents need a constant supply of fresh air.
Ya I actually just read that... very interesting... what do you think about hooking that other fan up as an in-line fan though? Or would that be blowing to much air into that tent.i guess I could have it just run occasionally it’s an ac Infinity so quite configurableThe article that @TintEastwood posted had a pretty good diagram. Im guessing its just going to bring more of whatever air you already have outside the tent in. Without a lung room to minimize how much work the DH has to do, and be able to get your humid hot air away from the grow, im not sure if it will do anything, but its worth trying..Ya I actually just read that... very interesting... what do you think about hooking that other fan up as an in-line fan though? I have a 6 inch vivosun already exausting the tent.Im guessing its just going to bring more of whatever air you already have outside the tent in. Im wondering if a 6" exhaust would be a better solution. Maybe you just arent exhausting fast enough?
Hmm yeah I dont know then. Im going to defer to the other guys who seem to have more experience in this departmentI have a 6 inch vivosun already exausting the tent.
Can you post some pics of your setup maybe someone will spot something that will help.Hmm yeah I dont know then. Im going to defer to the other guys who seem to have more experience in this department
The basement rh is 45 with the dehumidifier now so if I can get more of thst into the tent the better I thinkIm guessing its just going to bring more of whatever air you already have outside the tent in. Yea I’ll post someCan you post some pics of your setup maybe someone will spot something that will help.
2 suggestions. Here is my setup. I also have the ac infinity 6 inch fan as well. I got the rh to 65 so I’m happy for veg it’s just the flowering where it’s gonna be curious.
I have a dryer vent right by that I can exhaust through just realized that today so gonna do that over the next week if I can get some time after work.. as for the switch of filter and fan.. you could be right... From what I’ve read this should be just as good but I see what ur saying about the 90 degree bend.. the fan is on full and is pulling air pretty noticeably but I could try switching it out. I think if I just build that lung I will be fine though.. I alresdy got it down to 70 rh with lights off now so just need to get that in-line fan hooked up and try out that lung. My basement is already at 45 now though so I don’t think I’m gonna get it to much lower anyway.. I just need get that 45 air in the tent faster.. thus the ac infinity I’m gonna install ASAP here would’ve tonight but didn’t have an extension cord fuck lol.2 suggestions.
Hang the filter from ceiling, shorten distance beteeen fan and filter and eliminate 90 degree angle.
I could be wrong but I think its more efficient if you had the filter in the tent too but had it pulling thru the filter instead of pushing.
[Filter]==>==[Fan]==>
Also whats that duct thats right above tent go to? If its exhaust I would try using that.
Ya I got a controller on my ac infinity. I’ll use it for my exaust on my next grow. I’m gonna hook it up as in intake fan that kicks in as soon as the humidity starts to get above a certain level. For now I’ve almost got to my goal. Just another 20 percent and if I build that lung room I think it will do it.Popular simple controllers.
Temp and humidity. (Works with any fan)
Wifi
Cycle timer.
I run my dehuey standalone. No controller, just onboard settings.
Ya it’s not a good feeling. I’m just cringing tongiht watching my humidity on my inkbird sit at 80. Like I said earlier I’ve got the rh in my basement down to 45 so I think the only logical thing left is to hook my intake fan up to get that air in there faster. I would have it done but I can’t find an extra extension cord around the house and worked lateThis is a valuable thread gents. I'm in the same boat lol
I too use the AC Infinity, a 6inch.Ya I got a controller on my ac infinity. I’ll use it for my exaust on my next grow.
