dehydrated banana peels for phosphorus?

I was wondering if I could use my dehydrator to dry up banana peels to put into my soil the next time I water. I was told my plants might have a phosphorus deficiency. Just wondering if it could fill my plants needs without having to spend money on guano or bone meal. attached some pictures f my plant.

Just use Coke (the soda). It has phosphoric acid and can act as a fertilizer. I believe you have to dilute it though.

I'm in the same boat with 4 plants 25 days into flower. I was wondering how soon the banana peels would be available for the plant to use so I get reduced organic bananas at the local store, freeze the peels for a couple of days, blenderize with some water, add lacto-bacillus and let it ferment for at least a week.

If I dehydrated the banana peel instead of letting it turn into compost, would it work just as well??? I own a dehydrator and I have tools that can grind the peels into a powder

Adding raw or dehydrated banana peal won't work for a while until it gets broken down. They are great sources of K rather than P. Composting the peals is the way to go. If you need a quick fix, you may need to do a synthetic application (like superphosphate or diammonium phosphate), but I would be really certain what deficiency you have before deciding to add chemicals. Based on What you said, it doesn't sound like you're in need of a real quick fix though.

An organic approach (recomended) would be to go with bat buano, chicken manure, or fertilizer. Personally, during veg, I give my plants each 1/4 cup dose of Dr Earth tomato/veg fertilizer (n-p-k= 5-7-3) every other week, which has a nice dose of N and P along with a bunch of other goodies. Also, check this page out, some good info there...
