It would turn out harsh as hell and rip ya throat and lungs out i would think lol. If ya needed bud dryed fast for like an out of smokable bud sarnio i would just put it in front of the ac for 30 mins or whatever was needed, probably better yet just score a stick and wait it out haha

There is, not surprisingly, disagreement about this point. However, occasional home use of a fully functional microwave appliance is generally considered safe. Microwaves do, make no mistake, emit radiation, and the FDA has established what it considers “safe” levels for microwaves: over the machine’s “lifetime” the allowable level is “5 milliwatts of microwave radiation per square centimeter…approximately 2 inches from the oven surface.” Guidelines from the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) suggest overall radiation limits of 1 milliwatt per square centimeter “averaged over 6 minutes (0.1 h) period.” Unless you’re using your microwave on a perpetual basis, there’s little reason to worry.) Because the radiation diminishes quickly over distance, standing further away from the microwave during operation cuts your exposure even more significantly. (That instinct to not press your face against the glass door while your lunch was cooking turns out to be right after all…) Additionally, the FDA requires two interlock systems that effectively offer backup security as well as a monitoring system that shuts the microwave down if one of the systems isn’t working or if the door is opened during operation

I have a NESCO dehydrator. Ill be harvesting in about a week or so on my first grow. Ill be putting a few grams in there and then doing the rest on a string with a fan blowing around the air for like 3-4 days. Then sticking in glass jars and burping 3 times a day for 3 days. should be good : )

What yall think?

Ok,well my first grow I didint get to finish because I had to make room for the 4 white rhino plants that needed to go in there. I did clip some very immature bud off of the plant and put it in the NESCO on 95F(super low) for about 24 hours. It was just a bit to long but it dried it perfectly even. Ill be doing it on some of the white rhino harvest in about 60ish days. Ill let yall know!

Well if you need a speed toke and actually just watch the buds carefully it isnt to bad... I hate that dehydrator racism bullshit. Of course yes its not good for a main drying method but if your need for a toke and you wet bud... fuck it, i think its fine.

I use a dehydrator. It takes practice to get the hang of it, but once you do you will never go back. My dehydrator can be used for a variety of foods including beef jerky and fruits. It does not have a fan, a fan is unnecesarry. The way it speeds up drying is by using just a little heat, but not enough to damage the bud. When you pull your harvest let it hang for about six hours in a cool dark space. Then cut it up and throw it in the dehydrator for about eight hours. Just keep a close eye on it. You will notice the stem slowly turn from green to tan, this is how you know most of the clorophyl has evaporated. When it starts to tan and feel crispy pull it out and put it a sealed container. Leave it overnight in a sealed container. After 12 to 20 hours open the sealed container to burp it. While you are burping it feel the buds. They should not still feel crispy, but if they are just reseal the container and leave it unopened for a few days then check it again. If after that it still feels crispy you over-dried it. If during your initial burp and check it feels too wet and soft, you didn't dry it enough. throw it back on the dehydrator for a few hours and repeat the last step. I would say you could get a bud fully cured and smokeable in about two days if you know what your doing. What will end up happening after you pull it off of the dehydrator is it will feel really fluffy. you can smoke it like this, but its not complete yet because all of the moisture is hiding in the stem. I keep mine in a vacuum sealed container. I know its ready when I feel the buds and they have set-up and feel solid, no more fluffy. When they feel solid and very sticky you know that you have a consistant amount of moisture throughout the bud. I aim for about five percent moisture throughout the bud.

I use a dehy only after water curing for 7 days. If I want some quick smokeable can, then I feel this is the way to go. I just finished a grow with 3 strains (BSeed, Full Moon, AI) and at harvest I was pretty much out of daily smoke. I water cured about 20% of the bagseed then hit it with a dehy - very little flavor and very little scent to the bud, but this material will get me out to at least 3 weeks. Those remaining three weeks are dedicated to slow drying the rest of the Bseed and all of the good genetics. I'll follow by smoking most of the bseed with little treats of the genetics after the 1 week slow dry and 2 week curing process.

I'm figuring that's my best solution to get some quick smoke but do a quality job on the majority of the harvest.

Peace. Drake.
