I don't have any idea who you think I'm defending.

I am saying that you brought up $400k speaking fees in connection with people losing their homes. That would be connecting Democrats to banking piracy. Which is false.

Dodd Frank is an example of a Democratic initiative to rein in the banking and financial industry that could only happen when Democrats are driving the effort. While insufficient, what it does accomplish is hated by financial interests and is now being dismantled by Republicans to return us to the days of Bush era deregulation or worse.
