hey guys!
i have 3 south african durbans n 3 skunk/citral plants that are 6 weeks old outside. I am trying to determine sex before i put them in big pots so i can kill the males. They r in 1 gallon pots and approx 20" tall. Im closely watchin them and i c no balls on any of them. The 2 stipules that criss-cross are there and have brown tips. is that an indication? doesnt males normally autoflower at this time. its hard 2 think that all of them r females. Help!!!

just wait it out until you can clearly see the sex. itll happen. the stipules show no indication of sex, look for the calyxs which appear next to the stipules at the base of the branch/leaf internodes.

also, id like to see some pics of your african durbans, and also any info you had on growing this strain? thanks and good luck

i also have 2 skunk/citral n 1 durban that r 4 ft tall in 10 gallon pots. They look awesome, but lately the fan leaves r starting 2 yellow alot half way down the plant. is it a defiency? I have been giving it a product called speedy-grow which is organic kelp seaweed and once every 2 weeks give it Neptunes Harvest fish emulsion(2-4-1). Before, the plants were entirely green. it is not that bad but i was wondering if anyone had suggestions. i take off about 6 yellow fan leaves off each plant every 2 days.any suggestions??? Organic please!!

Morp, thanks alot 4 info. ill give u some pictures 2morrow. Durban is real bushy compared 2 the skunk. the branches have a 60degree angle upwards as opposed 2 skunk. I made up my on soil with peat moss, horse manure, chicken manure2-3-2(not 2 much.potent), organic soil, vermuculite, and lots of perlite. Wetted the soil down evenly n let it sit in bags 4 a week. Then i planted.Plants grew crazy. They get direct sunlight from 7am till 4 pm. I water every 2-3 days depending on conditions. Dont use alot of perlite if u cant water them often.I also fiolage feed them.
