Last night on Spike TV I was watching a show called Real Vice Cops (comes on right after DEA) and they raided a house where they found nothing, basically an 8th oz or less of bud. They did find 5 pitiful, tiny marijuana plants growing in the guys backyard. The dickhead vice cop told the camera man that regardless of the size of the plant or it's potential yield, ANY marijuana plant that has roots is equal to 1 dried pound of bud in the legal system! So this poor sap who has these pathetic plants (that would NEVER even reach flowering) sent this guy up on felony drug manufacturing charges!

WOW! Putting a seed in the ground is apparently equal to building and running a clandestine MDMA, LSD, or Meth laboratory in the eyes of the Michigan legal system?

yes sir... ever catch on the news when they cover a grow bust... "each plant could possibly produce a pound of high quality marijuana, with a street value of $5000"...:roll:

it makes it sound like they took a considerable amount of product off the streets, when in reality, they just ruined someone's life for a few small plants:finger:

Its just a great way to yield loads off of one plant and its not just the airbasket but also fimming and leaf removal.
You also need a strain that responds well to topping/fimming and is naturally able to get large.
Some guy the other day had 41 plants and only yielded the same as one of my big ones in the basket.

This isn't a boast,just a way of getting less prison time if you get caught.
In theory you could use a huge basket and sponge and a bigger pump and fimm that plant till it had hundreds of tops and yield a whole lot of pot using a single 1000 watt lamp.
I still believe that the main reason plants need bigger and bigger pots is that the root stock expands in search or air pockets,i have no proof of this though as i am just an old stoner but as long as you provide all the water and nutes what else can it needbongsmilie

Yeah it is retarded. I saw a cops episode where the cop said that the weed was so potent that he could charge him for double, even triple the weight.

Shit fool, I was watching ID (Investigation Discovery) last night and they had a show about some teenage drug dealers in Virginia and they spent 5 minutes explaining how "Chronic" is some new high grade marijuana which is "not your parent's marijuana" and it's penalty for possession is greater than regular weed.
