Developing bud rot???

week 10 flower bagseed noticed alot of dyin brown curled up sugar leaves and looked it up thinkin its bud rot?? i have picked alot of the dead leaves out but pic 1 & 2 show em best 1 plant all pics of different buds....plus no scope so cant check trichs....what ya think bud rot?? ready 4 harvest??

Personally, that does not look like bud rot. What you want to look for is grey fuzzy looking mold growing on the inside of the bud. So you can peal back the tops (not to where they are breaking) and check. If you just start yanking the leaves out, this is how you prolong the mold and make it more abundant. This is because you are opening up the tissue of the plant, so some of the oils and "plant juices" are going to get out, in turn keeping the moisture locked up in the buds = botrytis/bud rot

Best thing to do is to check the buds, remove anything with mold, and use scissors to cut off the leaves. All and all, they look good and probably about done

thanks....yea i dont see mold (white spider web lookin stuff) but under the buds close to the stem is really dark not good great lookin buds so thats what kinda had me scared plus ive cut a few small samples and been really stuff lungs seem lil sore another sign but there also is a head cold goin around so i think im jus flippin out 4 no reason haha rather be safe then sorry tho ya know what i mean

Don't wait to see the actual rot. The first thing you'll see is the pin or "sugar" leaves in the bud dying and shriveling up. If you see a dead or dying or just wrong looking leaf in a bud, pull on it lightly. If it comes out with little effort, you probably have rot inside that bud.

High humidity, poor air circulation are a good environment for botrytis. Dense colas are often affected in these environments. The rot starts from the inside of the bud, thats why you'll see the sugar leaves dying.

That's not rot. Ever watch a zombie movie? Picture a leaf version of a zombie... literally.

btw... another way to know if it is rot or not... look at the trics on the leaf and the other leaves and calyx around the suspected rot. If they're all thin end bet over like a hurricane came through with no heads attached then that's a good sign of fungus or "rot".

You're not going to find any white stuff if it's bud rot. You're going to find exactly what you've described ... Nasty, dark bits inside the bud. Powdery mildew is white, bud rot is gray/brownish...the zombie reference was really good IMO.

I'm not sure what you have there, but let's be clear about what we're looking for.
