Hey dewey I got a nooby question for ya. Can a clone be cloned, or do you HAVE to use a mother plant?

Clone can be clone for sure. Just veg a clone long enough to where it gets big enough to b e mother, taken more branches as it grows for clones. All a mother is, is a large enough plant that you can take clones off of.

So, I could just have a continual harvest of 10 plants as long as I get 10 clones? Thanks for the help man. +Rep. Just what I wanted to hear. And the plants are looking beautiful! What is RO Water if you don't mind me asking?

Hmm. I didn't really want to keep a mother plant, just because the space issues, but I was going to grow about 5 plants to start, and grow them about 4 weeks, and take 2 clones from each and they will be under a scrog. Then let the plants i cloned off of grow for another 2 weeks and go to flower it, and grow clones for 4 weeks after they root, and continue that, and then let the clones grow 2 more weeks after the 4. That sound about right?

Yea, keep cycling them would work. I plan on having a few mothers for at least 4-6 harvest before replacing them.

Yea, if you top it right, sometimes one, sometimes more. You will want to do this a few times, so you have more to clone.

I just want to have a steady set off 10 clones to harvest every month. so I can have a 100% female ratio, and 10 plants to harvest a month.

Ya, that's what I was going to do. Just so I have a perpetual harvest of females and don't have to worry about males, just hermies.

I have taken 100-200 clones off a single mother plant. I also have cloned off of veg plants, that were clones from the original clone, and cloned them again and again, actually I did that for over a year. The problem with not having a mom, and just taking cuts off your veg plants before they get put into bloom is that if a round of your veg plants go bad....You loose that strain, also there is a debate on whether or not a strain looses vigor after a few times cloned....I think that may not be true due that fact there are strains out there that are just as strong as they used to be when they were first created, and are now only clone only plants, as in, there is no way to get a seed from them due to the genetic parents no longer in service.
Anyhow, I am rambling and just wanted to toss that in with all the clone talk....

Looking great D! they look like they are pretty dense, what do they feel like when you swat them "they love that"! Mine like it alittle ruff! LOL
