Diablo and skywalker hydro SOG grow

my avatar is me. jin's avatar is some model. hey Jin, I need some new shots for my new avatar (wink) so that would mean a photo shoot and a look see in the old grow cabinet... hehehe
I cut the bitches down, dried my weed and now I'm curing it. The Skywalker is on point for smell and potency. I only wish I had more of it. The bubba is on point as well for smell. Haven't smoked it yet. The Diablo we have not analyzed yet. the only thing is that I wish I had more of all of them but I ended up with only 6 plants. I have about 15 g of bubba. have not weighed the rest dry yet. I'm satisfied.
In january, I'm building a big ass grow room to begin harvesting monthly. I will build a flower room while the clones are in veg. Then I will start trying to have the legal limit # of plants and just grow the best stuff I can and keep getting better....

things I learned from this grow:
supplement with silica in veg to get strong stalks
use a scrog to keep your plant canopy level and even
dry the buds in the right humidity so they dry slowly but not so much that they get moldy
SNS 217 kills spider mites and spider mites WILL COME BACK 10 days later and spread OVERNIGHT, TOO
do not use big blocks of rockwool, it's too thick for small roots to penetrate and hindered root growth hinders stem growth
you need a lot of $ for supplements and electricity to do this right
not all of your plants will make it from clone to harvest so start 2-3 times as many as you want to end up with
a concrete floor is best.... carpet holds mildew and pests...
must get a trimeter and a hygrometer and thermometer
must have aerated reservoir water
must have filtered or reverse osmosis water to keep nutrients free and unbound by particulates in the water so your plants can absorb them
I think that's most of it...

Well you have some nice buds!!! I wish I knew a chick that grew.. Wow! HOTT

ok now that the buds are all super dried and curing, the final tally is 32g skywalker og from three plants, 22 diablo og from two plants and 4 g bubba kush...
the bubba bud weighed 30 g when first clipped so you can see just how much weight you lose with the water evaporation... total was about 58 g or 2 oz... that was a lot of work for 1/8 of a p I will tell you.
sheesh. my next task is to increase the yield on the next grow and preserve mass.

hey barbie, congrats on your first harvest! spider mites are pretty tough to deal with and the only way, that i've found, to deal with them is to have an arsenal of products. I used azamax, lady bugs, some orange spray and good old smash when i found them. what you have to do is do a complete treatment on your entire room every 5 days for about 6 weeks or so. nothing will get rid of your spider mites if you have mites all over the place in your grow room.

you need to always do all your gardening duties before going outside, take more showers and change clothes more often. i dealt with my mite problems in about 2 months and this is what i did to get rid of them. haven't seen them for over a year now and i didnt use the sns-217. its not easy but you have to think more like an intel chip engineer and try and have a "clean" room environment.

i would not expand too fast. you need to work on the basics first. good luck.
