i use exclusively promix general purpose and miracle grow general purpose until second repotting then a mild dose of osmocote and continue with miracle grow throughout vegetation and repot into large containers with more osmocote before putting into flower i like the combination of timed release and miracle grow it is very effective good old peat and perlite works every time

So just to give you guys an idea of how it's gone in the past and to show how frustrated I am this time around....
Man, I just love good bud photos. :)

Good luck my freind... i'm hoping i can save these and not habe to start over. Hah my first ones were in my attice duting winter and i had to use incandescent lamps to keep tje temps up enough.

However I think Root Rot is also at play …..

IMO … pull plant like for a transplant , look at rootball - if affected take some sterilized scissors or razor trim off the rotted parts , knock off most of that soil , transplant into larger newer medium.

But see if a ph correction brings any vigor back first.
So I transplanted today. On the one plant I didn't knock off the soil, but it looked healthy enough. No sign of root rot. On all of them the roots were at the bottom of the pot but by no means root bound. Here's hoping. Gonna get crowded soon. 20211023_182918.jpg

Update time. After adjusting some things I think I've cleared up any nutrient or ph problems. But I'm convinced the real issue was indeed a mite infestation. Haven't been able to find the little fuckers even with magnification, but neem oil seems to have at least mitigated it somewhat. The damage looks consistent with broad mites.
Because of space limitations I'll be switching to flower this weekend. Hopefully they won't rebound and fuck up the flowers. 20211108_200534.jpg

Could this just be a pheno issue? Like a bad plant? Just wondering because I have the same problem with one of mine. Twisting and growing weird but in the same environment as two others that are thriving? So could this just be a bad gene I’m the plant itself? Just wondering because I am curios. I’ve tried flushing and everything and she’s still twisting. Budding and all just fine just abnormal growing! Just curious!!!

I suppose it's possible. I'm no expert. Broad mites don't fly and are so small they might never leave the one plant until they are touching as they get bigger. I'm forging ahead either way. Neem oil should be safe enough in veg and supposedly in flower though I don't plan to use it in flower.

So I decided the problem was mites but never confirmed. Didn't matter because the problem plant when hermie so I yanked it. Don't have room for 4 plants anyway. Here they are at 7 weeks flower.
This was a fun little journey. Thanks for the post! I love seeing new growers overcome obstacles!
