Nute Burn vs. High pH (Nitrogen Lock out) vs. Spider mites? How so?

hey thanks. i thought that might be it originally but then I had a bug problem with some MG soil so I flushed the soil, then used a little insecticide, then sand.. bugs are gone but still puny leaves.. any recommended brands to supplement?
