Be careful with that stuff.
Can cause airborne silica, a carcinogen.
When you work with D.E. at wineries and such, you need to wear a respirator.

thats probably not food grade DE, but pool or industrial DE, food grade yo can rub on your body, roll it it, rub on your pets for fleas, farmers feed to their cattle to eliminate worms and other benefits. For god's sake some people eat the stuff and say it works wonders for thier health. All the food grade its ancient organisms fossils known as diatoms found in the sea. Completely all natural.

And Mort, thanks again for the info on the DE, that's great stuff man. I've heard about it being used before in general agriculture, so it shouldn't surprise me to see it used in cannabis cultivation, but this was the first I'd heard of it. Guess my newbness is showing through a bit. LOL

I've used it for at least 30 years and yes it is great. There is a "food grade" that people eat. Colon cleansing stuff. Not me. The stuff for pool filters has the bad silica and no don't breathe it. It is great for pets and livestock for ticks and fleas. For all types of plants. It's fantastic!
