Maybe....doesn’t matter as it’s hanging now. Gave all my plants in flower a top dress of kelp, fish bone, and EWC about a month ago. Perfection remains an elusive beast...,
Nice. Looks like what I've had a couple times. When I was growing the Chem 91 it would start looking like that in mid flower. I figured out that top dressing more fish bone meal helped the following rounds. Chem doesn't have a lot of extra leaves to draw reserves from so I think that's why it showed when other plants didn't.Maybe....doesn’t matter as it’s hanging now. Oh Yeah I see the difference. Every time I build my final size bloom pots it’s like a guessing game. Probably would be more consistent if I was more accurate with measuring and labeling stuff. Sometimes I get it right and they are deep green right up to week 10 while other times they are yellowing off hard in week 7. This week plant was the most matured and the one that suffered the most at the end with hunger. I think I forgot to put spikes in this one as the other three still have a shiny green tone. This strain typically needs about 11 or 12 weeks to get rock hard density; I know im picking on the early side here. We need bud lolNice. Looks like what I've had a couple times. Here's my 3rd and 4th time. You can see I got a little better each time. Of course it's even better mixed with EWC and some kelp, which I did sometimes too. I'm no expert though. It was just a thought. You're doing just fine without my help, lol.

Oooo I would love to try one of those seeds! I have 2 Bruce banner #3 plants entering week 3 of flowering. I’m prepared for some chunky buds.I just harvested my seeds from the blue dream x jelly pie (jelly dream) today
I will be watching to see how yours does as well. I'm excited for us bothView attachment 4388090
It's totally a guessing game to me too. And I don't make enough notes either. I'm a long ways from figuring out this no-till thing. I'm just glad it's worked out so far. I just need to remind myself to top dress them before they need it. Which reminds me, I really should give one of mine a little something tonight even though it looks nice and green still. I don't want to hi jack your thread with another pic though.Oh Yeah I see the difference. Every time I build my final size bloom pots it’s like a guessing game. I can't wait to take my first US made high power light (HLG 600 I just ordered) for a ride. Hope my harvest turns out as bountiful!!! Like @Northwood said, I bet those buds will be easier to trim!Final weights from the last staggered harvest are in....
First 2 plants = 152g
Second 2 plants = 251g
Total = 403g of premium cola bud
So that’s over 14 oz ...
Plus a dry cereal storage bin full of trims and larfy lower bud....probly 2-3 oz did not weigh it
So total yield this run w/ lighting upgrade? ....about a pound
Thanks timber grow lights!!!
Thanks so much! To clarify when I said staggered harvest I meant that we started four plants in bloom and harvested them 2 weeks apart. Used to step harvest too but these timber COB lights reach down further than my old HPS even could. The lowers get almost as dense as the tops.I'm not surprised you reached your goal because those colas were incredibly massive. Very well done! Nice calyx to leaf ratio too which really makes the trimming easier. It's making me curious to see if my new upgraded lights make a difference in flower. They're cheap Chinese quantum boards though, but likely an upgrade over the Costco and Home Depot LED light bulbs I was using before.
I do staggered harvests too. I find it really makes a difference in quality of the lowers to allow them to ripen after taking the ripe top-most colas and lowering the lights. No need to compromise. Great thread BTW.
Oopsy? Thanks for the clarification.Trimming took like half a dam week this time; was getting worried it would dry to dust but these big ass buds were still a bit gooey in the middle even after hanging for 10-12 days. You are right though there was not a lot of trims comparatively; some of the lower growth probably could have been smokeable too but I only bothered to cure bud w/ rock hard density. Still gotta figure out what I’m gonna do with all this; maybe hash maybe some errrl idk yet.

Stay tuned for an epic hash run happening here soon. If SHTF I can still barter hash for ammo..like you say preparation is key....Oopsy? Thanks for the clarification.
I have a thing for hash, especially the soft kind. So I usually end up turning a lot of my premium hardest buds into hash too after I've turned everything else into hash. I only have so many friends, neighbours, and family members I can gift buds to. So for me it's a way of storing the "fruit" of my grows for long term storage that doesn't take much room. I figure if SHTF and society ends as we know it after tomorrow's election, then it will make good barter material in the apocalypse. If this virus gets even more out-of-hand, I can trade hash for toilet paper. It's all about preparation! lol /s
