Did I cut too much foliage off this Main-lining ?

I was told to cut off all the foliage under my last topping like 9 days ago. First pic is before and the second is after. Did i prune too much? Will buds still grow on these lower stem parts?

I've never done either but I have a hard time telling the difference between the 2. I thought an even first top split was manifolding like you have. We can both learn today lol
 
Creating a manifold and Mainlining are the same thing. The name mainlining is objective to some people because of the negative connotation of mainlining. www.growweedeasy.com/manifold
You didn't take too much off......all growth is to be removed below the tip.

Nice work sir. Is fluxing more or less the same technique as mainlining and manifolding? I don’t see much difference. Not enough to get encumbered in terminology unless I’m not understanding it fully.
