Did I get a photoperiod?

Hey everybody!

Cool forum with lots of different opinions. I’ve a question I hope is straightforward.

Got seeds from cropkingseeds. Northern Lights autoflower feminized. Used two seeds with coco and did pretty well.

This time, one plant is way behind the other auto flower. It’s clearly a female, with two white threads at the appropriate spots, but no other signs of flowering.

35 days since seed and 10 or so days into flower for the other.

Is the 2nd a photoperiod? Currently 20/4. Do I need to go 12/12?

Probably a phenotype that leans away from the ruderalis genetics. Give it 12/12 and it should move forward.

My crop king autos had not flowered by 51 days, so I put them in 12/12.It took between 10 and 16 days before all plants had visible signs of flower.

You are only five weeks along, I suggest you wait a bit longer before giving up and changing light cycle.

I decided to wait, since going 12/12 would really complicate my life.

I’m finally seeing a sign of flowering on the late plant. It’s worth mentioning that this second plant took two extra days to sprout (soaked in water 24 hours then directly into the coco). It kept falling behind the other, so now this late blooming makes sense to me.


I’m not sure this is even northern lights as the fan leaves appear much larger than its sister, but I’ll continue to plod along. I have a 2x3 foot grown space which is now pretty crowded. I used LST exclusively to create a flat canopy. Just FYI.

I read the title as 'Did i just get my first period' not 'Photoperiod' and now realise that you are not a sixteen year old teen in need of some help from a male predator who would love nothing more than to come round and help you out with that.
