Did I just top or FIM my plant?

Strain: Blue Dream Hybrid
6 Plants
Veg Stage
3 weeks after clone transplant.
Indoor Soil. Royal Gold. 25 gallon.
T5 CFL (6 54-watt bulbs).
Fans running. 80 degrees.
No pests. Watering every 2 days.
Mr. B'S Greens Trees for growth weekly.

My intention was to FIM my plant but I'm wondering, did I take too much growth off? I'm about to try this again on another plant. Appreciate the feedback.

What do you mean specifically?

From the pics posted, you have done neither. Maybe a pic not zoomed in but of the whole p!ant might help us to see where you did what you did.

First image is of the whole plant. Second one zoomed in. I just cut part of the top cola, the new growth.

You are good. Any growth tips underneath where you cut will continue to grow. The plant will just keep growing every where else and will bush out.

Fim is just sort of half ass cutting a growth tip off. I cut them clean off, so the next lowest one starts off clean with no deformities.

You don't do any stress training? How do you train your plants? I could let them grow naturally, but I'm under the impression that I have to use some kind of training technique in order to get a bigger yield. I'm just experimenting and learning how to grow. So you don't recommend cutting them?

Yeah it will be ok ive tried fimmimg and every time i try it gets deformed and still only grows two collas, on by accident have i got the extra collas thats why its fimiming for fuck i missed lol so i just top and mainline and super crop. Then cut leaves out the way for new growth to get more light, you should have started training two or three nodes down from where you did then you could get tops like this i have about 18 to 20 tops going
