did i kill my plant??

ok so when i went to transplant my plant cause it was rapidly growing to big for its pot.when i went to drop the plant into the new pot half of the old dirt broke off and fell into the pot before the plant. there were some roots going to bottom of pot so i know i damaged alot. there was still a good 4 inches of dirt in between the top of dirt and bottom to where it broke. do you think the plant will be okay... heres a pic of before i transplanted.. i would hate to kill it it was growing a inch in width a day!

I did the same thing to my plant last week. I transplanted it into a bigger pot and half of the dirt stuck in the pot ripping some of the roots out. after a nice water and spray down I let her relax and she never got droopy. Stayed nice and perky. Yours looks like it is happy so I wouldn't worry, just let her be for a few days.

She will make it. Maybe water with a bit of SuperThrive. Just za drop per gallon. Don't heat stress as it can't recover water as fast. I think I like the joy of growing as much as for pain relief.:leaf:

and i have a fat 9000btu air conditioner blowing on fan mode over everything so its to cold to heat stress :P im uploading pic now

The next time you transfer, just wet the soil and flip the pot over to take her out. That way you get all the soil and you don't rip the roots.

Just a few pointers~
water and pack the dirt before transplanting
then squeeze around bottom and sides of the pot
to loosen the dirt before turning upsides down
18 oz cup,1 gallon pot,5 gallon pot is how I do it!
Use at least a 400 watt bulbs for growing
