Did i top this in the right spot?

Hey, This is my first grow and I was wondering if I did alright topping this plant. Its just a bagseed plant so im trying to get some experience from it before i get some auto-flowering seeds this friday. Here are some pics.

looks like you did just fine, and yeah im pretty sure most autos are just one main cola they dont branch alot so u might not want to top them. depends on what kind of auto it is tho
