Did my dumbass kill it??

so i have 2 plants (thank god.....so far) and they are just getting ready to sprout their first real set of leaves, iv been using a razor blade to just quickly prune, and do to people finding the plant that dont want it around i have to be quick and slick and not move ANYTHING so that at least they will think i forgot about it, anyway was pruning 1 was careless and chopped the whole top, now i remeber reading if you do that itll just grow wider but all it is not is a stem, so is it dead or is it all good?

Back up, junior. Where did you cut it? Got a pic? No leaves, no plant. What in hell were you supposedly doing? Besides getting ripped?

If it's getting ready to sprout leaves, what the hell were you hacking?

Please dont tell me you cut the cotyledons off.

theirs really nothing to show its just a stem (plus i cant get a good shot), the first set of leafs emerged and the 2nd were on their way out, so i went to prune the first set and the razor slipped and cut off everything, but since then its looking like its trying to grow again and the stem is still pretty strong. (sorry i took so long had no idea i was getting responces)

If it's just a stem it won't grow leaves. Why were you cutting something that was just getting leaves?

pruning, and because idk what im doing hence why this is in the "Newbie" forum, i also was under the impression you had to keep the light on 24/7 untill 5 leafs sprouted so they r very tall, that dumbass part is gone now tho

Razor blade? Prune? They? I'm sorry, I have to laugh and shake my head. I'm new to this, and at times shook my head at myself, lately, I've been getting some good laughs. I guess I'm not a Newbie anymore. Just chop the stick down. Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha, I'm sorry.

Stop cutting it if there is some energy left in the plant it may get a baby leaf out and could come back you never know its basically dead right now just forget about it maybe you will get a surprise in a month.. Do some research this forum is a great place for info

Man wtf you don't use a razor on a seedling. Use a chainsaw when pruning no matter what stage the plants are in. I attack mine weekly and they seem to love it!

I can just imagine someone beheading there plant then just staring at the little stem just sticking out thinking wtf for like 10

dude you 'pruned' it at the wrong time.. your suppose to wait till its starting to grow but then 'prune' the plant where it comes out of the ground and than 'prune' everything into 1 cm sections and than throw it out. LOL wtf were you thinking? im a newb and i would NEVER considering 'pruning' my plants.. thats like growing a tomatoe plant and as soon as it starts to sprout leaves chop it down. wtf like sorry but do you have common since? DONT TAKE A RAZOR TO THE PLANT, its not a damn tree
