Did we chop to early?!

Thanks guys. I was worried about going too long. Every leave was yellow and crispy except the bottoms smalls. Ive been dealing with a fungal gnat problem and I believe this plant was affected pretty bad.

You'd have to go waaayyy longer to over ripen the plant.
To be fair if the plant has no more viable leaves and is dying due to issues earlier in the grow there's no point in trying to run the full term. You're risking bud rot and nanners for little to no gain in yeild or quality.

Not saying OP's plant was that bad though. I'd have let it run longer.

It is easy to chop early, difficult to chop late. I flipped to 12/12 Dec 1st, last plant started coming down last night. Your plants came down long before their time.

Based on the pictures provided, that plant had enough leaves left. Not trying to rail hard on the OP because this is a learning experience but I think stressing about rotten over ripe buds less than 2 months in is a bad excuse to chop early in hopes of smoking. I mean if it's not gonna be worth smoking anyways, why not just let it be?

Thanks for all the input. I get it, I chopped early. Not my first or last grow. I had very bad yellowing and crispy leaves and thought it was time. This was a few days before chop

I rocked a wedding cake that got fucked up around week 6 of flowering till the wheels literally fell off, it had almost no fan leaves left. It ended up being the best out of that run, lol. You can wait much longer than you think with fucked up leaves.

A couple runs ago I had a clone that got way too dry and absolutely blasted by light. She took a little longer but was just as good as her sisters even though she had a little more than half the leaves.
