Hey is my plant pre-flowering yet, I understand that It's kooky to ask and google probably has the answers but I have checked all this and read stuff and I am still not sure,
I wish to be positive of the sex as I have 2 females next to it.

I don't want them to all turn to males if this one happens to be a male

will post more photos if requested because of lack of photos, here are 3 photos, the top makes it look like a female but there looks to be sacs as well,
a hermy would suck.

looks like theres a ball on the top node but id give it another few days, it should be easy to tell if its a female though youll see white hairs popping out of a caylx as opposed to balls without them. dont worry too much about males this early on though, youll be able to tell sex before they pollinate your gals, just stay observant.

match him up with a vigorous female and youll likely have some pretty killer phenos, only bred like 2 strains and only F1s but there tends to be some interesting outcomes.

Google how to save marijuana pollen. so later you can make seeds. plan ahead.

That's what I have been wanting to do but don't have many females, his a super healthy male disappointing it turned out male, oh well. I have been thinking of doing what DC suggested and saving the pollen for next season.

Leave breeding to the people who do breeding. I don't see why cannabis noobs always want to make their own seeds. Don't get pollen on your buds, kill the males if you know they're males.

or you could clone the male if your planning on starting another grow soon. if hes that vigorous it could be worth it, storing pollen works too though.

and idk whats wrong with some breeding, yeah f1s arent that stable but if he chose 2 good parents(and those parents came from a pretty stable strain) he could have some good phenos. all those big time guys probably started the same way, no need to discourage him.

Thank you sir but I don't get discouraged on the internet, only by acts that are disgraces to humanity.

I have decided to just use one of my friends females, since the genetics of the plant are lovely for my area.

The worst that can happen is ending up with 100s of seeds in your harvest.

It sounds like a pretty bad scenario in comparison to the sensimilla product which is what you started growing for in the first place.

make sure theres no hermie in its lineage, when it comes to breeding that probably the worst thing that can happen.

dont know how that is a bad scenario if they're good seeds(once again, the worst thing would be if all of these were hermie), if you use em you can save a couple hundred bucks(depending on which breeder you buy from, ranging anywhere from 3-10 bucks a seed you can really end up saving a shit ton).

if you don't want too many seeds pollinate early on in flower, this way only the existing calyxs get pollinated. i did this to a plant that yielded about an oz and only got 6-7 seeds. just make sure pollen doesn't get on all of the buds, theres also the brush method where you only get pollen on the buds you want to yield seeds.

My dad's friend luckily is a good breeder and he has taken it to work with

also his working on a Big Bud x (I'll have to get back to you) it looks amazing though, huge buds.

In the summer of 2011 he managed to grow 10-12 foot tall plants averaging about 2 pound a plant, really excited to see what he does as he has produced some lovely hybrids over the years.

I breed because it's fun and saves me a lot of money on seeds.

I save a good male every once in a while and breed a female.

Gotta to be very careful with the pollen though, you don't want to get it on plants it wasn't intended for.
