1. Purchase a domain and rent server. Make sure the server has tons of bandwidth per month. Mine is unlimited.

2. Decide. Decide what kind of software you need to run on the server. Some choices are:


  • Blogs and forums
  • Community calendars
  • News

  • Online file storage(photo bucket)
Important things to remember . You own the domain (chicago.com) and you set up the sub domains such as (forums.chicago.net) (help.chicago.net)(phots.chicago.net)
and you can run different software in each domain. Classified ads on one domain and community calender on the sub domain. Always have a photo bucket software loaded into a sub domain to work with the photos on your site public access is not necessary this is your album for your website.

to bad we can't make 3-D glasses for computer monitors and put all porn 3-D....

ummmm... how about "rent-a-date"... you know, for those who go online just to hook up or call dating services but it never works... they can just rent-a-date

ok..how about this...online girlfriend or something like computer girlfriend ... like for those who are real computer freaks... they can login... customize their pornographic girl... and she is basically the perfect girl, but just on the computer....talks dirty, do nasty stuff... reeeeeaalll nasty stuff..ha

a lot of those porn sites don't show porn dvd series or the entire scene... only clips... with this idea.. you can order an entire 3 hour porn... like "big brazilian butts 4"...

I want to do a HORMONES/vitimins/PGR`s for MJ site, having grow journals link to other majors like this one,data,experiments,comparison data, live chat(forum), suppliers,Agriculture industry methods on crops, informed & assumed ingredent lists for products that dont list ingredients. Side effects, hormones and genetics and there link in production of different strains, I could go on.
But essentially a Forum type site dedecated to ADVANCED tech and information on a HORMONES/vitimins/PGR`s/nutes for MJ.
Selling advertising and sponsership. Free membership etc etc

YEP YEP YEP..... I just want partners first....In different countrys....Ill do the research (to start) I just need someone to help put it together, and someone with intrest in both MJ and hormones & Youve checked the thread... thanx

Calculators and conversion tables, EC/TDS/PPM charts, basic templates to fill and print to rep your feeding scheduals, grow room desgin templates, DIY kits for cloners -to carbon filters to co2, strain infomation, cycle templates for those strains.......... again I could really do this all day........ I remeber getting all this info was BS and many many hours of research so I guess it would be pop if was up, was organized and looked good............... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Diem I have given them some thought. I do medical transcription and through this I have learned that these wav files I am transcribing for doctors have to be stored on a different server other than their office ones due to HIPPA. Now, I think there is some $$ to be made there.

How difficult would it be to set up a domain and server for medical logs?

Then the next issue would be is how to get doctors offices to buy into the service?

Just some of my random thoughts....:)

That would be easy Sunny. First the server would cost less than 10 dollars a month.

Second, HIPPA rules can be satisfied with good passwords.
Third each doctor could be given a sub_domain, Such as, Drhouse.sunny.net or kavorkian.sunny.net.
The doctors could upload their wav files and you could transcribe them.

This would be simple because you only need a main page with links to the doctors sub_domains.
When the doctors clicked on the main page link a *capcha box, their password box and user name would appear.

Lastly you need a page in the server to keep google bots, amazon bots ect out of the data files. This is simple and effective.

I hope you can understand this Sunny It sounds like a great idea.

* capcha keeps bots from spamming your server. Machines have problems reading irregular lettering.:bigjoint:
