there isnt really an exact amount of watts for any plant that you need.
Light=Bud
But for clones they are prob alot more stretched/taller than a normal plant so they will need more lights(coverage).
Try to keep your plants as close as possible to the cfls but not to the point where they output more than 80 degrees on the plant.

use as much light as possible as much as you can before heat becomes an issue.
definitely not an hps, but the setup i have right now is 284 watts for one plant. I really think if you arent growing to sell, just put all your love in your babies

my input was just a rough guideline, im no expert but on past experience i found this sufficient. harth and blue chronic are spot on....the more light the better. just do as much research and get as much input as you can to best suit your situation its always good to listen to other peoples opinions and experiences.

I believe a good rule is at least 50 watts/sq ft & no more than 200 watts/sq ft.

NICE! Is that seriously less than 1/2 oz, though? It looks like way more.
thanks man its nice quality but for some reason whether it was me or the strain the buds came out airy.
But im still really grateful for the bud that im going to have once i harvest my other four diesel ryder.
If you look at my pictures/vids above the other plants are really fat compared to the one i call the tall skinny bitch.

Ah, I see. I'm hoping my plant yields more than 1/2 oz. She's really bushy, so I'm praying the buds come out nice and dense.

thanks yeah well i still have four more to harvest.
my next project is going to be a stealth grow in my college room.
im not sure how its going to workout but i plan on just LSTing and topping one plant

Be careful, I've seen more than one person get thrown out of college (and still owe their student loans) for that kind of thing.

There was a huge thread with like hundreds of replies about why you should grow in a college dorm room lol.
Bad bad consequences, and it's not hard to get caught. Not worth it.
But that shit looks fire harth. You can grab a cup, throw it on the scale, tare it, then put the buds in the cup and scale it.
Small yield from that plant tho jeeze. As you continue curing it, it will loose more weight to a certain point

I actually was reading a journal here a couple years ago about a dude growing in his dorm. One day he posted that some nerd ratted him out to the RA and he had been expelled. Apparently the guy who squealed on him shared a bathroom so he just walked in and started rifling through his stuff. One pipe and one plant had this dude blackballed.

it all depends on where your at...ive grown in a dorm room...but was my own space...and even if you was looking right at it you wouldnt have known it was there...if its really stealthy..not too big..and can cover the smell up..your as good as you would be growing at your own house...just as risky.a really well made pc grow box would work..if its light tight and setup like any computer would normally be.ive seen some that have dummy cords running of them and everything...its possible..but like i said it all depends on where your at and who is around you
