How far away does the light have to be from the plants? Mine is about 10 inches away just now with a temp of about 76-78, is this ok for a 400watt hps? Plants seem to be ok.

that sounds pretty good. you did a soil grow right? I orderd my seeds last night they are being shipped today. auto white russian, auto snowwhite (snowryder), and g13/haze.not to bad 157.00 for 30 seeds of some kick as weed.

As close as you can get it without burning the plants. you know how hot that thing can get 10" seems pretty damn good.

Day 32,
Any tips or recommendations are highly appreciated, watered today, i used biobizz nutes, veg and bloom, half the recommended dose. Mixed with 2 litres of water and poured in until water ran out the bottom. They are now about 13 inches 14 inches away from the light, temp is about 72-75. What do you think guys?

I read if you can get that light like 8 inches away as long as they don't burn the plants.

Yo guys,
Day 34 of the plants, and I have decided to put them into my large grow tent, it measures 100cm x 100cm x 200cm, basically meaning its 1m x1m x2m. I did this as I felt it was a little claustrophobic in the cupboard, so I did this in aid of giving them more space, and plus more room for me to put more plants in. I have some pictures of the set up, i'll show you just now.
