Im currently on a diesel ryder seed run myself. I tryed an lr2 seed run last grow which hapened to be my first with bad results. I isolated the male and female together @ 3 weeks and removed the male @ 6. Then i harvested @ 65 days. Half of my seeds were immature which were obvious by their pale color and the other half looked great but wouldnt germ. Ive read that some seeds are dormant for a few months so that couldhave been the issue.
So this time the male and female diesel's will be growing beside each other outside the whole time and im going to wait atleast 85 days and possibly longer weather permitting to harvest.

it doesent really matter 1st or 2nd. if you just want to try it out take a small hobby paint brush and dab a little pollen on a branch or 2 on the bottom. and see what happens

I grew Diesel Ryder a couple months ago. From the ten seeds, I grew two of them the first round. One was male. One was female. I just left them next to each other and would occasionally pick up the male and rub it around on the female. They were in small pots, so it wasn't hard to do. I got plenty of seeds from that first plant.
I grew all the rest at once. Six of the eight survived, and I think two were male. I separated them for about a week and then just rubbed them around on the females I wanted pollinated. I only left one little runty one unpollinated.
They all took just over two weeks to show sex, and then about 6 to 7 weeks to finish flowering after that. If I remember correctly, seeds take about four weeks to develop, so you've got about two to three weeks from the beginning of flowering to start knocking up the females for seeds.
Even seeded, they still smoked quite nicely. All of my friends said it was quite good. I've got two growing now from the seeds I made. One looks to be male, and since I have plenty of seeds, I'll probably kill it. It's still early though, so I might let it go another couple days just to be sure.

cool his advice sounds good to me. just leave a male in ur room for a day or 3 and pollinate them like that. and u will have plenty of seed stock

how about just putting 1 female with one male and let them grow do this about 3 times an you should have about 75 to 200 seeds and when you start getting low do it again. save all the buds from the pollinated buds to make hash from and grow your other females seperate so you eill have seed stock and sinsemilla buds

You'll get well over 200 seeds doing that. I had about 175 last I checked, and that's after planting more. The ones that grew after the first one were barely pollinated at all.
You could make hash. Diesel Ryder is very resinous. I smoked the seeded bud anyway, and it was still very good.

dont know why but this just popped in my head and im not sure if i know the correct answear or if i just for got as next year will be my first year breeding but i you got say ak-47 auto (female) and a ak-47 auto (male) and you let them grow they will be ak-47 auto seeds right? so heres my question when you grow out the seeds you made yourself are they all the same say like if you took a clone? or are you gonna have different phenos and some may be good and some may be bad is that how it works

With seed, you are just about always gonna have some fresh random genetic traits. Stable hybrids might make something pretty similar every time, I'm not sure. Why are people so crazy about autos anyway?

its a quick way to get some smoke i guess i just wanna try a few and see hoow they work and what they do. and my wife wants to grow them in an areogarden and i dont want to buy seeds every 60 days so i wanna learn to breed and have stable genetics.

Why don't you just use clones? Flower them as soon as they have roots and you'll be able to have as many little budsicles as you want.

Diesel Ryder is a cross of Lowryder #2 and NYC Diesel. It's from the Joint Doctor seedbank, the same guy that made the original Lowryder. I bought mine off EDIT.
