Different THC/Cannabinoid ratios in resin vs fresh bud

Hey, y'all. I smoked the last of my 1/8th yesterday. It was great weed. A powerful and activating strain (an energetic "high" instead of "stoned", as they say). About 30 minutes ago, I scraped some resin and partially burnt bud out of my pipe and smoked it. I'm definitely feeling it now, but the effect is much more mellow. I seriously do not want to leave this couch.

I'm thinking resin has a significantly different composition of chemicals than my fresh bud did. Anyone else notice this? Thoughts?

yup. resin tends to be more like an indica effect. i dont really like the taste, but it still gets you high. ive also heard theres more nasty stuff is in that than regular buds.

i think the effect is from higher CBN concentration compared to THC. thats usually what you find in heavy indicas IIRC.
heres an interesting vid about how it works. hes got a few other good vids too. actually this might be the wrong vid, but whatever
