I switched, no buzzing, humming, or lamp pulsations and a little less energy use, worth it overall.

the day i plugged in my digatls i was shocked, i am used to the buzz of 1000 watters, now when i say buzz i mean a BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, and after a while it gets very hot, now the new joints are sick, when you turn on all i here is a small click and thats it, cool to the touch all day, they are mini computers

I'm very pleased with my dual 600w Lumatek digital ballast.
It's cool and quiet, with two separate power buttons + resets.
I went down from 1000 to 600 so I can't say they are brighter.
