DILL LED Grow Light, Claims 240W For Only $212 + Free Shipping, REALLY?

Hello RIU'ers, so I was looking around on flebay today when I came across a listing for a DILL (never heard of them) LED grow light that claims an actual power draw of 240W yet there only charging $212 + Free shipping (and that's the Buy It Now price so if you bid low and win you can get it even cheaper), sounds good yet something just smells funny about this. I mean don't get me wrong Id love to pick up a 240W LED grow light for that price, however that just seems to cheap to be true, I mean that's less than a dollar a watt. The specs say it has 80 x 3W LED's and can replace a 800-1000W HPS, REALLY? Just more cause for speculation IMHO! I bet that if someone were to open one of these and actually test the power draw it would be a far cry from 240W, I can practically guarantee it because I know for a fact that 3W LED's don't actually draw 3W, more like 2W, so 80 X 3W LED's would only draw around 160W, so a 160W LED grow light for $212 isn't such a great deal IMHO! OK, enough rambling, here is the light: (---->CLICK HERE<----) So has anyone used one of these or is familiar with the brand? I did a Google search for "DILL LED Grow Lights" and this is the only model I could find and I couldn't find any reviews on it or even any company info, kinda fishy.
Well I got excited when I first saw the listing but as they say, "When something sounds too good to be true it usually is" so until a proven & affordable LED is available I'm just going to stick with my plan of using 400W CMH + 250W HPS.

Take care and keep em GREEN!

Thanks for the fast reply Swiftowl11, yea those look like nice LED's and Ive heard from several people that they work, in fact I believe Ive seen both of those lights in action here and with pretty decent results too, however my finances are....well I don't have any finances right now, lol (I only laugh to fight back the tears of patheticness, LOL, lol, lo....) Yea I think I'm going to hold off on LED until they produce some with better penetration, I actually have a 90W UFO LED but I think I might sell it to get something else Ive been looking at. Ive actually been very impressed with these (new to me) biax compact flourescents, they come in a wide range of wattage's but for growing the best are 36-96W. This is one I'm particularly interested in, its refereed to as "The Beast" and has also been called the "Retina Burner" and "Migraine Maker": (---->CLICK HERE<----) I have some very cool ideas on how to incorporate them into my closet grow box that I'm about to start building, the only thing keeping me is money and electrical work and I can't wait to get started.

You can run a 3w led at 3w, it just does a lot of things that aren't good. It decreases the life of the unit, it changes the spectrum output of the light, it lowers the efficiency of the light, and increases heat significantly.

It's hard to find 1w LEDs alone for $1 ea in the different wavelengths, id say the math doesn't add up.

If you have a limited budget and heat isn't an issue, I would definitely not go LED. This is from a guy that has 3 LEDs.

Thats affordable. I would save up a little more money and get a light that I know works and is back with a warranty.

Or even most affordable is blackstar, they are proven to work.

I wouldnt touch most of the no name ebay LED.
Im a stickler for details and the fact that last website calls the previous blackstar model a descendant means whoever made that site is a fucking retard and I wouldn't buy a pack of gum from them.

Those 2g11 biax are great for running vertical. They do put out a bit of heat. I'm looking at going to led for summer and I just bought a 400w hps

Black star is definitely the best way to go if you want a LED light that actually puts out. I initially bought 3 600w LED lights off ebay and the LED rows went out within 6 months in all of the lights. I managed to get a refund and went with http://www.blackstarled.com after just about every grow journal on this forum that used one had impressive results with their lights. I have been using 4 500w blackstar UV lights for about 6 months now and havent had any issues with the diodes going out and one light is deffinitely equal to a 600w HPS. They do extremely well for the veg stage also. The only thing is you are going to pay more for a 500w blackstar than a 600w HPS, but its well worth it imo because you wont need nearly as much ventilation to keep your grow room cool.
