Dillema question

hi folks, i have just a question , i don't know what to do . I found an offer , i can buy 3 hps lights of 70W each , or 1 hps of 250 at the same price, what is more good for 4-5 plants?

The 250...it has alot more penetration power than those little 70's do.

Can't really tell what is more good. The 3 70 watters have their own ballasts? I would go for the 250 watts. you would only need 1 reflector and ballast.

Get this:
1ea 70 watt @80% efficiency = 56 watts x 3 = 168 watts available for light.
1 ea 250 watt @ 80% eff. = 200 watts available for light MORE BANG FOR THE BUCK

Definately go for the 250 hps... Can I ask how much your going to pay and if heat is an issue?

Those 3 lights have each his own balast , and that light of 250w have it to his own balast, for patlpp
I will pay around 70 US $ , but is not from an official shop on the internet or smth like this , i will buy from a guy who have a lot of this lights , here in my country. i think i will not have any heat problems because will not be an stealth growing- for smokey mcsmokester :d

the lights will be : hps-urile are "philips master son-t pia plus" and the mh lights are "philips master hpi-i t plus"
