Diluting Nutrient mix to lower ppm?

I accidentally doubled my nutrient ratios for a 5 gallon feeding mix my ppm is 1400 I’m usually sitting around 700 ppm. Is there any harm in diluting the mix with water to get the desired ppm. Than obviously readjusting ph. This is for soil not hydro.

Adding plain water to the nutrient mix will bring the PPM down. Nothing to worry about there.

I didn't want to dump the mix and restart. Thanks for your help. I guess I'll find out if houseplants like nutrients, with the extra 5 gallon of mix I now have on hand, can't let it go to waste. lol
