Dinafem Fruit Auto And Original Amnesia Auto

Hey guys, this is going to be my second attempt at a first grow. I have germinated and planted one Fruit Auto and one Original Amnesia Auto and they are currently soaking up some 250w mh light for 18 hours a day in 24oz cups.

They have been above soil for about 2 days now and the Fruit seems to be stretching just a bit. I plan on transplanting them into Fox Farms Ocean Forest in about two weeks, or when I feel they are big enough for the 3 gallon pots. Right now they are in an organic, nutrient-free soil just for the beginning. I have been watering with ph-treated distilled water. NO nutrients right now, but I have the full Fox Farms lineup for further along in the grow, although I plan on going very easy on them.

That's really all I got for right now. I'm very new to growing so I have no confidence, especially since my first attempt was killed within a few weeks. As of now I have only attempted Attitude freebies and I'm trying autos right now because they have less for me to mess up.

Has anyone smoked these strains? Are they good? Any advice for my grow would be much appreciated.

What type of lights are you using? If cfls try to get them about 2 inches away from the tops.

No it's a 250w mh. I have it about two feet from the leaves. I started them under a cfl though so that's why the Fruit is a bit stretched.

I'm kind of really excited right now. These girls are looking so much better at 11 days than my first attempt did. Growing by leaps and bounds each day. If anyone is interested in these two strains please follow my journal. I would really love to hear some feedback/suggestions.

So here is another update. They are really loving this 250w MH light! The Fruit is growing outwards and the leaves are wide while the Amnesia is growing thinner and taller. Today they are 29 days since starting germination and 23 days since they sprouted above the dirt. There was a rough patch when I transplanted into 3-liter bottles because the bottles weren't draining very well so I pretty much immediately put them into the 3 gallon smart pots. They exploded once I did that. So far no nutes only the Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Based on the descriptions of these strains they are about 40 days away from being ready to harvest. I have a feeling it will be a bit longer though.

Looks like were in about the same stages. Lets keep in touch

OK today is day 30 above soil and I decided to give them their first feeding. I basically just halved the suggestions from the Fox Farms feeding schedule and used 1 1/2 teaspoons of both Big Bloom and Grow Big and 1/8 teaspoon of Open Sesame. They are looking a little droopy but I think it's just because they were thirsty.

Also, I think the Amnesia is beginning to kick into flowering mode. I can see a few pistils and the top of the plant is looking bud-ish. This being my first grow I'm not so confident in identifying the signs of flowering, so maybe one of you guys can give me a look? It's the taller, thinner plant.

Day 35. Switched to the hps. Should I start with flowering nutes or keep using the veg ones?

oh i am and mag pro suppliment... doesnt have anything to do with it.. only one is really stretched.. im not complaining im gonn have more bud..

Alright I gave the Original Amnesia Auto some flowering nutrients today and gave it a small amount of LST to spread the bud sites away from the plant a little. Overall I can see that this plant will finish before the Fruit Auto.

The Fruit Auto is a little behind the Amnesia Auto. It is showing some pistils but is not budding up yet so I gave it some more of the veg nutrients I gave it last week. It is very bushy and looks like it could produce a lot better than the Amnesia right now, but just needs to kick into flower full time.

Another update. Still no buds for the Fruit. Amnesia looking nice though.

Just about to cut here soon my O.A. Auto from Dinafem. Looks lovely under 1000W HPS and ADV Nutes. Sunshine #4. She should be some Fire. Hope to give you guys something to look forward to!
