Details:
Built In Wardrobe :735mm x 450mm x 1900mm
CFL : One Shade adjusted with two lights 1 x 130w 6500k 1 x 125w 2700k
Ventilation : Shitty oscillating fan and not fully sealed.. (Ok its a ghetto grow so far)
Soil : Mix of Peat N Mix, Seed starter and regular Potting Mix and Vermiculite
Ferts, Using Charlie Carp and sea sol alternatively about once a fortnight (bit smelly
) and Miracle Grow Max Feed all purpose in small amounts, almost every water.
I thought some might be interested in how a newbie goes with Dinafems Fruit Auto, in case your interested as I'm sure quite a few recieved it as a freebie like me.
You may have already seen my snow white and chrystal grow in the newbie forum, I couldn't wait to add to my seed collection and when it arrived was super keen to try out the two auto freebies I recieved.
The WOS Kush Ryder didn't open, who knows how long its been sitting in a stapled (not air proof) zip lock, The fruit however sprouted in 24hours (Paper Towel) and popped the soil in another 12.
This was while my other plants were at about 5 weeks and before I transplanted into 250mm pots, and before I realised how silly I am cramming all these beautiful girls into such a small space. I'll try avoid talking about the other plants but as they are all growing in the same cupboard and space is an issue but I feel it is necassary to cover.
I dont have dates for the following two photos but they were around the 6 and 10 day mark i think..
Today is exactly two weeks since tranfering from paper towel to soil.
And now my over crowded cupboard, I had only transplanted 3 my other plants to bigger pots recently but i could no longer close my cupboard so before they got settled in to much I moved them to 12L icecream containers which are rectangle, hold more volume and fit much better. (I'm thinking these would be great for a one plant DWC in the future)
Do I really need drainage holes in the ice cream tubs? I think I've got a fairly good feel for when to water..could always make some in the event of needing to flush.
I should note I have more lighting available and plant on transferring my more mature plants to flower, below the canapy is already looking a dark and cold place.
