Are you still using the age old nutrients? did you use to use maxsea before? Any comparative notes?

I too defiantly noticed that the couple of girls i put in the ground are several feet wider and just overall much bigger than the girls in bags or containers and they have the same veg time and same soil.

I think ill be trying out your soil recipe for my winter carport greenhouse grow looking forward to giving it a whirl after watching you grow monsters for a few years!
As of yet I have not had to use the Age Old. So I can't compare it to Maxsea. I dont top my plants and they branch and spread nicely. When I compare the same strain in different holes and containers. It should do you good from start to finish for sure. I will probably do a seed run again this year for sure. keepem green dirrtyd

Yeah they are looking great that is some of the BG you were suppose to come get. It still will fit if it dont grow too much. Let me know the Blackwater looks like three weeks put the scope on her seeing clear and cloudy she still shooting alot of pistils. keepem green dirrtyd

Well went out and trimmed up all the under growth yesterday on the big gurls. What a task but I know come October I will enjoy it. All of the gurls have done there stretch . We have all females now killed the last male. Going to spray them again this morning with a blast of BT and neem oil and a little dishwashing soap. keepem green dirrtyd

Well I did some supercropping this year enjoy. You also have a pic of the Blackwater budding should be done before the end of August. Then you have a BG in a Small hole also a BG in a raised bed. The AO is being pushed all kind of ways because of the Ogkushxbluberry cross she still look like a unit though. The last supercrop victim was a mixed seed from Cali Connection with a strong sativa dominance. She will eventually finish in the greenhouse for sure. Enjoy comments and questions welcome. keepem green dirrtyd

Gorgeous garden.
Thanks for coming by Shaolin trying to keep it looking that way till the finish. Well gave all the gurls a good drink today. A couple still havent started flowering yet but thats fine looks like it will be a spread out harvest for sure. Will move the sativa dominant plants into the greenhouse once the medijuana finishes. keepem green dirrtyd

Well sprayed the gurls today with some spinosad. Been checking the Blackwater and it has caterpillars I found a few eggs and killed a few buds. Hopefully this spinosad will start stopping them going to spray again tonight with the spinosad. All plants are looking great at the moment I cant complain. Next year should be better with reusing the soil. keepem green dirrtyd

How do you like the kellogs soil?
Its all that I use you can see the results my mix is in this thread I think I revised it since the first one. It works great as a base for me once I add my things to it . I just use water from my hose or I let it sit in buckets it just depend on how I feel that day. I mostly use buckets to feed the soil mollases . Going to spray again tonight for good measure. keepem green dirrtyd

Well I let the top couple inches dry out cause I'm used yo doing it indoors lol
Im not getting full sun like some of you in the hills.

Basically to avoid over watering and root rot.

Also because I read that roots need oxygen to stay healthy and with over watered soil thete is no oxygen avalible to them .

Still wanna here your opinion cause it might change mine

I also read on the bottom of the maxsea bottle not to fertilize dry soil so I always water a little before I feed if they are dry .

I havent been letting my current outdoor grow dry out. I just let it get moist like it was when I first bought it.
Since ive been watering every other day I've noticed roots grow closer to the top of the soil

The reason I dont let the soil dry out is because if I do that. I'm letting my microherd dry out also and die. So I keep my soil moist but not wet. Keeping the microbes alive is my goal because in turn they will feed the plant. I have some maxsea now from last year you want it? I have found what works here and I live closer to the Bay than you probably no hills here flatlands. I can show you the dry amendments I use also what I have and didnt use this year. I got a plant in a baby hole and it went beast on me very happy pics later. dirrtyd

Yeah I thought about this too.
I actually still have half a jar from last year left that I'm not going to use this year
I'm looking to build my microherd back up. I've been feeding organically for the last two and a half weeks.

Bontanicare bloom/grow seems to be doing the job.

Oh yeah I have $32 dollars on a evergreen nursery card.

What organic nutes would you buy with that ?
Might be making teas soon
