There's no way you can give them 24 light for aleast 4 weeks? That is too little light for these young babies. It could work out. I guess we'll find out with your plants. I just got some auto-flowering seeds and I'm wondering if i could start them under 12/12.

I start my plants out at 24/7 right from the start, not every crop, but a lot of them are 24/7. depends on if I have enough timers at that time. I just keep the lights up higher, and have fewer of them. But I do prefer 18/6 just because it saves power.

thanks for the light help. Cannabith and Dangly Bits. as for you waffles, I shall be reading up on the grow faqs. I was looking on there before and couldn't find any help there, but that's probably because I Wasn't looking hard enough. I probably will get some CFL's once I get money, a ride to the closest lowes, and a better place to grow my plant then my closet.

I prefer 24/7. We kept our plants under constant 24/7 light for 7 weeks and they all turned out females and this is on our first grow. who gets that lucky? So more lights less stress could possibly give you females.

ok well yes 24 hour light does help them grow but, it is the dark period when all that stored energy is released for new growth. now im in no way undermining the 247 light cycle i have used my self on the first coupleweek of my grow of well. but there does not to be periodsof drak when you do this for the best results i find in my grows. I stick to indicas primarly due to the space limits i have.

Happens to some plant's cotlyedon leaves earlier then others. or however the fuck. you spell it.
