Yes, young plants a little more than a month old from seed. I did allow the coco to get pretty dry in between last watering. Could that have an effect?
Yes, for a few reasons maybe. When the moisture level drops around the roots it is possible fertilizers are drawn
from the plant instead of in. Or the root tips dry completely and die. Sorry, being melodramatic. Your girls look fine and I'd be careful about overreacting. The other hassle when growing in coco and the coco drying out is a buildup of these fertilizers or salts.
I grow in coco and water with a run-off to prevent a buildup. If you make more than one change at a time it is hard to know what's causing what. If I were going to do one thing I might increase the amount of water I gave at each feeding, so I got more runoff. After a few larger feedings the buildup is likely reduced and all is fine.
I'd also be careful about how much light young plants get and how close the light is to the leaves. A true 700watts at 18-inches too early or mabye intorduced too quckly (start higher as an introduction) before they are mature enough could easily stress a plant.
